Repi paused as she reached the door of the Shadow Keep, momentarily unsure of what reception she would get from others at Court - especially Muldran. Would he welcome her back or curse her as a traitor ?

She yearned to return to the presence of Vygorn, his absence making her heart pound. The headache that had plagued her ever since she left him in the forest was growing steadily worse.

She was surprised to find a warm trickle of blood drop from her nose and run around her mouth. Angrily she wiped it away and pushed open the door, this was where she belonged..where her friends were who needed her help...and yet it felt so strange, so unnatural to be there.

Confused and frightened, she sank to the floor and wept.
