I have decided to put my findings into this book, for later research has not to follow the same path while solving a new problem, and also to give an insight to my brand of magic. If I leave this book laying around you will think me evil. That is not my way, it isn't the magic that makes one evil but what that person does with that magic... But enough with this old and tired arguement.

Has my first research theory I decided to study the Undead, It was a theory that I gave thought to when I was under my apprenticeship with my master in Umbra.

Do weak humans both physical and mentaly make for weak undead when raised from their tombs?

To find this answer I decided to travel to the Graveyard near the Town of Yew and the Militia of Yew's buildings, Named Stonekeep. Upon reaching the Graveyard I noticed that only skeletons raised from their graves. A theory for this is due to the lack of Magic users being buried in the graveyard...
(I will have to look into this with other Magic users and also ask the people of Yew why there are not Magic users buried there.)
To test this I walked into the Graveyard and unsheathed my sword, small that it is, One on one they where no match for me, I must confess that my skill with the blade isn't very good and it did take three or four hits for me to fell one, but they attacked in groups and I was soon out matched. Though with a few spoken words and the use of my power combined with my blade I managed to defeat the wave of Skeletons.
I retreated to comtemplate what I have learnt and saw that with great numbers they are strong but on their own they are weak. I then walked into to Stonekeep and was stopped by a Militiaman who called me sir, well that instantly told me that the people here where weak in the mind, which explained at least part of the theory. I baffled them with my intellect and managed to walk away without paying fifty gold in some silly road tax.

I then decided to walk to britain, once there I was torn between to find an inn to write down what I have observed in Yew to going to the Graveyard here. In the end the rumbling in my belly and my feet being sore I sort out the inn.

There goes Day One into my research.

Things to do tomorrow...

One - Goto Britain Graveyard to study the undead
Two - Talk to the populance of the City to guage their intellect
Three - Buy more regents for my spells. (More batwing then anything else)
Four - Buy a Mortar and Pestal and a basic book for beginning Alchemy.

With my Study of the undead in Yew, I decided to study a Graveyard where I know the populas was veried... So britain it is.

Upon my arrive I noted that there was serveral kinds of undead in the Graveyard. Ghouls, Zombies, Wraths, Spectors and of course Skeletons. The Ghouls, Zombies and Skeletons can only attack physically this posed no threat to me, but the Wraths and Spectors attacked magicly and this I wasn't expecting. Luckly the spells that they casted had no effect on my being since I am trainned in resisting magic.

I then walked into the nearest mage shop, after buying my wears and learning the basics of Alchemy I talked to the mages there. They said that Mages who had died did get buried there. Now does this mean that when a mage has risen from the dead that they could use the power they had in life... I feel that going down this line of thought will lead me away from my current theory that I am working on. But it is something to consider for future study. If my body is rased from the grave will I become a Lich? or a Spector?

*She shakes her head has this is leading her away from the theory that she is working on*

After speaking with the Mages there they knew that I was trainned in magical arts and wanted to know which ones I studied, I had to be sharp and said that I work in theories not actual spell work. They seemed to accept this, then we got talking about where magic came from an old mage mentioned something about a gem shattering but the others just laughed and said that was just a story and not fact and truth... Again this may be another theory to look upon, Does magic of everykind come from one source?

*She shakes her head again and mutters: "Back to the first theory please Nightshade"*

After leaving the mage shop I headed towards the moongate and went to Trinsic, I heard a rumour that a man who is also a scholar was doing some sort of community service there so I sort to find this man.
In the end I couldn't find this man so I went to the moongate and decided to head for Cove, I had heard that Lich's where in their Graveyard so I wondered if Cove also had knowledge for Necromancy. Upon my arrive I met a Knight and a Mage talking by the side of the moongate, I had been told that this Knight was a member of the Shadow Court, I know that the Court had a impressive Library. It seems that my enquires for employ had reached the Shadow Court since this Knight Decardo had said that he has heard of me, He then asked the Mage Lucy to create a portal to take us to that Library.

Once there I we talked and I think for the line of the questions Decardo wanted to know what my personality is like and if I was suitable to join the Court. In the end Decardo asked Lucy to etch my name into the Guildstone and here I am at the Vinyamar surrounded by a sea of knowledge. I feel I have found my new home. If it wasn't for my need to eat then I would never leave this place... but then my theories would never get solved.

*She places her quill on the table only to pick up a book on a substance called Blackrock and reads into the night*

Well I didn't go to Cove in the end, but I did meet others from the Court and spoke with Lord Muldran himself. With the talk that was going on I have come up with a few more theories that I want to study, maybe with Lord Muldran himself.

I have used what little funds I have to set up a lab that is made of stone so I can investigate in reative safety, though I have been told to keep the Alchemy ones has Theories for the moment since I have had little study in that area.

Area's of which to study...

One: Do weak humans both physical and mentaly make for weak undead when raised from their tombs?
Two: Does the substance called Blackrock affect the undead and if so how?
Three: If you heat up oil and extract it's fumes, cool the fumes then add Nox Crystals will it make for a bigger explosion?
Four: What happens to a Magic user when died and then raised from the tomb?
Five: If something is thrown into the void could it be summoned back?
Six: If number five is yes how would one stop this from happening?
Seven: Does working with Alchemy make a person go mad?
Eight: If you add the extracted fumes of oil after they are cooled into a liquid and poured into a keg of Greater Explosions would that alter the rate of which the Potion explodes?

*Has she thinks about more area's to studies she falls asleep on the stone floor of her lab... wondering if her dreams would offer any more solutions or area's in which to explore*

Well again the research was put on hold, but for a worth while reason, I have finially had my Lab and personal space completed. Also It is fully fernished and ready for the experiments. Though I will be putting the Alchemy experiments on hold until I know exactly what I am doing.

I have thought more on my Undead theory, the more I think about it, the I think I am right.

*She wipes her brow because she is sweating from moving all the furnishings, she settles down in her bed and falls asleep.*

I have been traveling far and wide visiting dungeons searching for a scroll that I had heard rumours about, I found what I was looking for, I studied it long into to the night and found that it was of an anicent form of the Drowish language, while stuggling to translate it I asked a Drow that I can trust to see if she has any clue... That lead to a dead end, I did know that hardly any of the drow could read or even know the meaning of the language......

*She pauses deep in thought*

Long have I studied this scroll, having translated it I feel that I am 98% correct with its translation, and from what I have found scares even me, one who would seek the undead, raises them... If someone with an evil intent had found and translated it....... It could spell doom to our world!

*She shudders has she thinks of what one would do with the knowledge and had an evil intent.*

I have told Lady Cherry about it and also shown Lord Decardo and they have both come to the same conclusions, the court must do something, I also fear that the scroll that I have found is but a copy and that more of them are out there...

*She places the books into a box and stores them into her vault and places the magics that lock the vault*

*She slips into bed, feeling uneasy with that she has done, thinking if she had made it worst by translating the scroll into commen so anyone can read it...*
