Muldran's Suffers Computer Death

I knew it was too good to be true. I blame Gorth's computer. Must have done something over UO.
My PC took a dive last night; C: drive is totally trashed. I'll be attempting to recover stuff tonight, but should be back on tomorrow.

The laptop isn't great for doing UO, so I'll not use that for logging in.

If people can petition the Trinsic Guard to let me out of the armory, that'll be fine - and can you let Black Box people know that I'm out of play for now...

awww sorry to hear that Mul - first me, then Gorythn and now you !!!!! i have heard of sharing within a guild but this is getting silly

hope you can fix it and retrieve all your data

im abit out of play atm - been getting steadily worse with an infection for weeks and finally got to the docs today and ladened down with pills.....but all going well should be back soon

So Mul is really a mirror image of you in RL, everything you touch goes wrong, you need a bell to ring to warn peeps of your presence.

It's actually very serious - absolutely everything has gone on my C Drive - couldn't evenm manage a recovery. My monitor is also suffering from odd distortion, leading me to believe that an alien spaceship may ahve landed somewhere nearby...

I'm going to have to go thru backups to get a worksable 'old' system, but I'm going to order a new system from Dell anyway (my component based PC is about 5 years old at its oldest part, with various new tack-ons) so it's about time I went for totally brand new.

Unfortunately, this is going to make UO play a little difficult, but I'm hoping I'll be okay by Monday.

Carry on with the black-box paranoia as before; I've left some instructions on the Inner Court forum for what the Court can do; oif I can recover my password I'll pop on ICQ shortly...

As Decardo saw (briefly!) the other day, I now have a fully working computer.

I had intended to play during Friday \ Saturday but - as per the wonderful timing that has plagued me this year - I'm suffering with migrane and throat stuff. I refuse to call it manflu, since it's nowhere near as bad as the bit at the start of the year!

I've been dosing on and off today, and will write up some story bits and PM the Box Holders who are inhiding, to see if we can close things off during next week.
