| ** A Letter to Lady Cherry & the Council of Mages concerning the Lycaneum **
A quickly drafted letter is left for the Lady Cherry....... Quote: My Lady and Magi of the Court,
I bring grim tidings from MoonGlow. The Storehouse of Knowledge people call the Lycaneum has been overun by creatures of darkness. Within the walls and indeed spilling outwards these creatures attacking all who stand before them. My eyes have seen Shadow Wisps, Flesh Golems, Revenants and a new form of the Shadow Wisp which seems to be cloaked in some kind of energy field. I watched people being taken down by all these creatures, they seemed to spill out from the Lycaneum in waves.
The creatures, even the enhanced wisps can be taken down with Magick and a good blade. The armour the Fey one Taliesin gifted to me some months back provided good protection from their attacks so i was able to easily stand my ground even versus many foes but many were not so fortunate. I spent my time investigating the area aiding others when and where i could.
I travelled inside the walls and searched the area as best as i could with sword and shield in hand but i could not see where the darkness was spreading out from. Indeed they seemed to appear out of thin air . . .
Of note is that many of the wisps carry coloured chests which i will bring before the Council on Sunday when i make my report more formally.
I am honoured to say Courtier Markus Balthazar is still out there in the lands, i encountered him holding back the dark creatures trying to stop them spreading southward into MoonGlow.
I make the recommendation that anyone who travels in the area to go well armoured and well armed in whichever path they walk.
For now i will conclude my quick letter to you all.
Beloved i worry after the wellbeing of our friends within the Ashen Circle as those of the Circle are known to be in service of the Lycaneum
