I once more penned an entry into my journal ......
Quote:
We gathered at the behest of Muldran outside Trinsic along with a few others Muldran had contacted. Muldran sought to answer a request from the City in seeking a way to return Kendra to our realm. I believe she was lost at the time of the invasion of Magincia by the demon hoard.
Muldran it seemed had a plan, he had remembered of some old scrolls he had almost forgotten about which might be able to help. I just hoped at the time they were tried and tested formula and not like some he had wrought in the past where he had to fill in the missing parts. But Muldran assured me all was well.
We took the ferry to Trinsic which was still running back and forth to Magicia since the Moongate to and from the City was still blocked. Once across we quickly made our way to the remains of the Moongate where Muldran did best what Muldran does.
There was a little bit of trouble, well more an exchange of words between some Dark Elves and Muldran with one of them making free with a piece of Blackrock. But i believe they realised quickly that should a fight ensue they were clearly outnumbered, so they stuck to casting barbed words. I was glad also that Mordred was here for i knew should a fight ensue his skills would be invaluable. A sketch of the gathering at the damaged Moongate on Magincia Isle
But the magick of words is what Muldran wields best of all.
After Muldran manage to wieve his commune spell, Cherry sought to touch the Ley to see if she could detect the life thread of Kendra. She quickly found it and merged with the ley so seek her out leaving the rest of us standing around the circle of stone. A small party headed to Britain for Antar suggested that when the gate was last functional it was known that it brought people out in Britain. Myself i travelled to the Shrine of Justice in the company of Faenwen and Anna. There i would attempt to use the my powers where they are strongest to try to reach Cherry should she locate Kendra. For then i could take word back to the others.
A few more pennies fell into place with regards Anna...her wig, her words and her manner were all beginning to add weight to what we had thought the previous meeting that she was not she appeared to be and that she was in the employ of another.
Kendra was found by Cherry and the parties returned to Trinsic where Mordred agreed he would try to take care of her as best he could until any of Kendra's friends were found. He even offered up his room in the Trinsic Rose for her, i am glad he still possesses his chivalric nature. A sketch of Kendra now returned to Trinsic
With all this done i now challenged the one we had come to know as Anna to tell us the truth. Antar reported also her so called husband Nolan was overheard whispering to another with regards very unusual behaviour. These so called newly weds were definitly not what they claimed to be. Anna refused to give up what she knew in the short moments we spoke before Captain Kaelyn came on duty. Cherry suggested she be handed over to the Justice for she was correct in saying that we had no jurisdiction in the City of Honour. So she was handed over to Captain Kaelyn but as the Captain said no one had any definite evidence to present so there was not much she could do.
But there was a way i could learn more...i took out my honour knife and took from her a taste of her blood. I admit i was overtaken by a streak of visciousness for i took the blood from her cheek. Not the actions of a Knight !
Later i talked it through with my beloved and she believed it was my Renshai nature, the one i had been trying to calm, that had come through. She suggested i spend a little time in the Garden of Healing Chamber in meditation to ease my spirit before i headed off to ritually clense my battle blade which i had drawn without taking blood earlier in the day. I sat reading back my words, the day had been a chaotic one. Once the ink had dried i closed the journal and headed outside dressed only in light clothing carrying my scabbarded crystal katana chi blade. I curled my toes into the fresh earth beneath them seeking out the ley tendrils that run freely through this land we call Sosaria. The gift Jade had given me i had found enhanced my ability to reach the ley if my body made direct contact with the earth.
My mind settled into the routine of the svelgese katas i knew so well from my youth on my homeworld and my body naturally followed. My thoughts wandered freely to and fro over the day events and then came to settle on the one constant in my life as always, that of my beloved Cherry.
