Sennah’Jo’s story

My name is Sennah’Jo, former caretaker of Eska’eldalie. Not too long ago my will to live had ended, leaving my precious Eska’eldalie in the capable hands of Lady Durinka. When death came to me finally, Mandos, the Doomsman of the Valar, took me in his strong arms and carried me off to his halls where he cared for me and prepared me for my last task before I am allowed to enter Valinor.

My last task is to tell you and guide you to the gift of the One for Sosaria that got lost many years ago.

You see… In the times that the children of the One awakened into the world, Morgoth worked on something that he wished to use to win their loyalty, to corrupt them and steal them from the Creator himself. But before he was able to bestow this gift upon the children, the Valar discovered the nature of this gift and spoke of it with the One. The creator reassured them that this gift was not an original idea of Morgoth himself, but something that had always been part of his vision of the world. He just felt that at that time his children were not ready yet, to receive such gift and thus he send the Valar to retrieve the recipe that Morgoth had written on how to make this gift.

So what gift could be so precious that I stand before you now…

Well… a Fountain of Life. Drink of it and sickness and wounds are cured… it’s exact possibilities are not yet known.

Why do I come to you all now?

For now the time has come that we, all the children of the creator, have to prove we are ready to for this part of Iluvatar’s vision of the world. We have to prove that we are ready to care for and own a fountain of life.

Perhaps you all know the story of how a servant of Morgoth caused Elves to come to Sosaria, if not… well that’s what he did and that’s how we came here... What nobody knew, except for the Valar, is that one of the elves that arrived here first carried with him the recipe to create the Fountain of Life. He hid the recipe in a place of which he thought it would never be found. How foolish I was…

The servant that Morgoth had send after us did not perish in the seas, no on the contrary… at the same time as the elves came to the shores of Sosaria he arrived as well. We believe that this servant may be the one that is called The Guardian and he must somehow have discovered that the recipe came to Sosaria and its location… I am sure I do not have to tell you how important it is to find this recipe before the one who found it hands it to the Guardian himself… if this happens, the gift will be lost to us forever.
