if I get some time I may give LORTO a whirl. otherwise AoC does look awesome. It looks a bit like what they did with SWG with player cities and stuff. SWG was very cool back in the day! wish i was able to play it more.

anyway, as esca says, it really does seem like the end of nign! i always thoght that when twoie was gone/going it was all over red rover. and now he's gone!

Never loose hope my friend, yes SWG was awesome if that was still going strong and was the way it was in the old days i would definately play! Best Pet class ever, i wubbed my creature handler but i didn't make it to have a Rancor before i quit. Some of the pets on that game were HUGE, that turtle you could see from a mile away towering above a city , Ultima has the second best pet class obviously

well i'm guessing guilds like Grd and BoC are still doing ok(ish)?

the secret to getting good activity was always "activity breeds activity". if you could get a few players on regulaly you could always count on more people joining thenm

Well GRD is doing quite well to be honest, and Cove arn't doing as good as before but their still doing alright, much better than us anyway lol, theres still VTC about in Vesper aswell, Apparantly groups of DOT have been seen fighting the Demons attacking MAgnicia too, so not all is lost.

SCT is still active too with a number of storylines still going and 6-10 active players on nightly

Sorry Esca, I just havnt been able to find the time atm. I hope i can free up some free time but first As lvl is coming up soon module 1 :'S But dont worry, Im a stubborn !!!!!!! that wont quit UO ^^ No matter how dead it gets

Thats it, youve made my mind up. My UO days are over, i will permantly wipe my account and close it. Hanging on a continuing to pay for a game i do not enjoy or play in the hope of it get better is not something i can do forever.

I think its best i do let go now, face it UO is never going to get better than it is now. It will never be like it used to be back in the day. So best i go and spend that £9 a month on something more fun.
