Im not much into pvp or pvm, so I find very little presently to entice me in.

I will definately turn up to asnything you organise tho, to support you.

If everyone logged in more often rather than just complaining how empty everywhere is, UO would be active again!

you make a fair point Elliot, but its not just that, folk have actually left UO, people are getting bored of it, events need to be hosted but people are busy IRL etc etc

Its lush, but then ive always thought it was. We even have player housing now and cool neighbourhoods!

I actually rather enjoyed LOTRO too when I played it. Just cba to go out and buy the game. I'd recommend the free trial though. Monster pvp is actually quite fun. And the quests are better than in for example WoW. The next game I hop into will either be Pirates of the Burning Sea or Warhammer. Realistically though, the games where there's a chance for an RP community like you have in UO would probably only be possible in games like AoC or LOTRO. Only problem with LOTRO is that there's no pvp to speak of. This is fair enough as elves and humans didn't go to the Shire and ganksorz hobbitz and vice versa but still, I like the chance of spontaneous pvp. In AoC there are player built cities that guilds can control, and would have to stave off attackers rather frequently. As for myself, I have absolutely no urge whatsoever to return to UO, that game is dead in my book, and it feels like beating a dead horse whenever you play it! From what I understand, this summer was extremely bad for the UO RP population and I doubt the numbers will rise again.

I'd love nothing more than to see Europa's RP community take an OOC exodus to another game, if only so I can play with the lot of you and not feel ripped off, as would likely be the case with UOKR. I might advise an old favourite of mine, Adellion, if it were out. Alas, they're still - after the greater part of a decade - making little progress. Oh well..
