Hello players of The Vesper Militia & friends, my name is Ned Stark, i have recently come abck to Europa in order to assist my dissertation that i am writing on Ultima Online. More specifically the identity elements within the confines of the game & game community.

This survey is designed to find out a) the demographic of players. b) the uses of Ultima online and c) what schema of player you all belong to.

I started playing Uo because I was intrigued by the idea of playing online with so many other people, and for the unique community that it created. I never took up another MMPORPG as UO has always offered everything I want from such a game. The main reason I still play after so long is that I have made friends along the way, that make the game fun even when I'm not doing anything, and that I might lose if I did not continue to play.
