A new age beckons! It lurks just below the horizon. By the time the twin moons have finished orbited over our fair nation this evening we shall have reached it. Some people may think this means little, but I am here to tell you that it does.

It offers a chance for change. It offers a chance for progress.
Let no Vesperian deny the perils of our time. Our most peaceful and beloved Republic is assailed upon every border. Treachery lurks amongst the weak who dwell within. In such times we must stand resolute against the tyrant's flood lest all we have fought for be lost.

We have seen the fanatical hatred of the Yewish. They would abolish our way of life if they could. We would be forced to spend days in silent prayer to a false god rather than seeking out our own joy. While we have liberated our western brethren we must remain ever vigilant against their mindless hate!

We have seen the debauched depravity of the Trinsician nobility. Their poor subjects suffer under the drowish yoke! These wretches are forced to slave for their accursed masters in a war against our nation. We must free them from a life of toil for effete nobles, corrupt drow and bloodthirsty brigands!

But if we are to save the world we must first put our own house in order. Kain Twothumb must answer for an act which could be considered criminal! If he cannot explain himself it seems reasonable that he call a new election immediately before our valiant forces be mired in their liberationary duty.

What is this crime you say?

Consider that he has destroyed the townhall and militia barracks, turning it into a mansion for his own kin! How can he so destroy public buildings in this manner? Where shall the Militia be based? Where shall public meetings occur? This dictatorial act of personal acquisition cannot be allowed to stand. What other dark, unconstitutional plans has clan Twothumb?

When was the last election in Vesper? It is beyond the memory of most who live and serve here. The time has come to call a new election. We are a free nation still! Let no Vesperian ignore the requirement for us to demonstrate such. Unity is strength. We shall capitulate to no despots at the sake of our liberty!.

Davion read the leaflet, being toted by a variety of urchins throughout the city. A cheery grin and "hullo mistah, take one these sah" would not distract him from the contents. Hanse approved of the idea of a new election; it had been some time since the last. A new generation of Vesparians had come forward to make their lives in the Republic - and them having their say on their Protector was only natural.

He would approve of the new elections, even if only to confirm the Twothumb clan's power in Vesper.

Rand caught a leaflet flying in the wind.
*Grunts*

Maybe it is time for an election, the reign of Twothumb was all that he had known in Vesper. Would be nice to exercise his democratic powers...Although he is unsure what that really means

Zennith looks at one of the leaflets on his desk... i would make a good protecter but i fear twould not be fair game on the royalists with me leading the rebels to victory.

*William reads the leaflet*

* After some moments, he frowned. The idea of a democramtic nobility didnt bode well for himself. His mind raced as to how the govenment of the land took place. "Elections..." He murmered to himself. "Hmm... I wonder". He thought about his homelands and at what would happen to those who would dare speak out towards the Desuri Family. With a smirk, he called in Doric...

"Doric, go down to the Vesper Library and get me a copy of the Towns Laws, heraldry and recently govenment records... Well move man!" He frowned as the old man ran down the stairs complying with his order. Perhaps it would be worth while the Dragoni... Nay, the Desuri to take a step forward and offer himself as a candidate if the need so calls... "Well, Epostile old chum... You aint lost anything yet..." *
