I only went to the swaggers for a refreshing afternoon ale, but I should have known that things in Vesper are never that simple! As unlikely as it may seem, the man next to me at the bar showed himself to be none other than the supposed heir to the pig farm of Yew, Tristian D'Gar! Why the swaggers staff would allow such scum in their tavern I have no idea. We all thought Rand was bad enough!

He asked me to come outside to talk, so warily I followed him out of the door, but he had vanished! I walked down the stairs, then turned around after hearing a noise, just in time to block his blade with my own! The battle raged for quite some time around the tavern steps, before Frelthir arrived for a drink, and he too got more than he bargained for! We chased D'Gar all the way to the graveyard before felling him, which seemed apt.

Unfortunately when I checked, he still had a pulse. I held my knife to his throat to try to take him into custody, but he used some kind of Yewish magic to melt into the ground and disappear! Whether he is dead or simply hiding in terror, we'll Just have to see!

I'm guessing stealthing to the corpse and looting without being revealed. Too many people seem to be doing it these days, they attack the entire Vesperian army as their stealther, then don't seem to want to be captured when they are taken down.

Yeah, he stealthed up and away again... but this was supposed to be an IC story!
