I was wondering if this sounded like a stupid idea or not before I go ahead with it. Basically, I was thinking about holding a GRAND tournament, where each city, namely Yew, Cove, Trinsic, Skara, Jhelom, Kaldor, Orcs and ofcourse Vesper (apologies if someone was left out) would select 4-5 champions from their guilds to participate in one grand tournament facing the other cities. These 4-5 people would fight as a team versus the other city teams. I think something like this has been done in Trinsic a while back, but not using the city versus city approach.
Ideas? Suggestions? Thoughts? Flames? Cyb0ring? And yeah, first event I'll have made so something's bound to cack up If this seems like a good idea to most people, I will contact the GMs of various guilds and have them select their champions, as I want to see the best pvpers in Core duke it out. I know this will leave out the majority of players (including myself) but it's mostly to see some damn good pvp between really skilled fighters. I think we all know how annoying it can be having a group member weighing down the others if they can't really fend for themselves.

Should be held in a bagball arena for maximum pleasure
and Fel side for even more fun.

Yup, was gonna go for the Bagball arena in Luna. Not sure how good the one in fell is as one can't cast spells in there, and seeing as it's fell, will probably discourage people from attending more so than in trammel.

Well, up to them really if they want to participate, I don't really care who joins, if they think they're capable of holding their own, then by all means, sign up. But yeah, probably gonna go for 5 on each team. So that leaves 2 more from Vesper if indeed all the Davions are taking part. That said, everyone knows the Davions are good at pvp, but I've seen some damn fine pvp from Phlebas, Thaur (with his insanely good xhealing) Nox, Elliot, etc etc etc. All depends on who wants to participate.

There's a dubious problem with Orcs being able to turn up and not be mutilated by everyone - especially the most staunch of IC folks when it comes to greenskins such as Grd and of course ourselves. Bearing in mind its meant to be a competition between major states and organisations backing their Champions, Orc would have to prove who they are, with aforementioned probable results. Not every chump just enters a "grand" tournament after all
