The pvp is very balanced, solo or group pvp. Not like WoWs 2 button club. Im easily using 3 hotbars for my druid and 2½ on my blademaster... Using all buttons. Siege can be real fun at times. I like the group pvp best.. nothing beats the feeling of a group beating 2-3groups at same time..

Re: Babble of the drunkards!
it must still be very popular then?
I remember one of my friends playing it way back in the day, but he was never much for MMOs and got scared at how much he played it. so gave up. I never really considered DAoC as one of the greats, although i've heard WOW is basically a DAoC clone? It's probably a bit late these days to get stuck into it though, i'm guessing? Not that I have time to put into any MMOs or games in general ![]() about all i can get away with is cranking out some Battlefield 2142! which i do love! especially when you can get into a decent squad that works together. Re: Babble of the drunkards!
bring on age of conan tbh :/
i think when that comes out i'm going to allocate 2 hours every other evening to myself so i can get into it! for xmas i've asked for the complete chronicals of conan, so i can know the world properly! although it has been a book i've wanted for a good couple of years now, before i'd heard of AoC. |

Re: Babble of the drunkards!
DAOC was one of the best MMO's ever when there were alot of players, it is probaly my second best MMO to ultima along with SWG when it first came out and lineage 1. Trouble is DAOC made too much land which spread everyone out i found. Also the MMO i played for the longest after UO. You know how i love my pet classes, i am the pet class on literally all MMO's apart from WoW, and the DAOC Albion sorcerer pet class was great, was so many cool pets to charm like a green giant which was awesome. And the other pet classes rocked too.
