That Sunday Eve in Vesper, it was getting late. The sun was beginning to set and various folk of the militia were gathering in the swaggers for an afternoon drink. Escaflowne, Olk and Nox were enjoying their drinks while exchanging conversation between one another and the barmaids when Olk received word that farmers of the boardering land of Vesper had reported sightings of brigands wandering the forests, moving ever closer to Vesper. After hearing the news, pidgeons were urgently sent out and the militia were quick to respond as Lyonya and the rest hasterly walked through the doors of the Swaggers shortly after.

The Brigands could be seen surrounding the building from the windows and the militia prepared arms, rushing out of the doors down to where the brigands had gathered. Hanse tryed talking with the criminals, but there was only a short exchange of words before they starting firing arrows and spells into the militia's ranks; which they reacted to at once. The militia charged the brigands head on, sending them into panic and confusion which lead to the splitting of the force. The militia dealt with them swiftly and deadly, suffering only two casualties.
The Brigands could be seen gathering their strength and regrouping in the distance as they prepared for the second attack. The militia saught shelter in the barracks of the town hall and awaited the brutal charge of the bandits.

The Brigands came crashing through the door in full force to meet the awaiting militia armed and ready to go. Arrows,spells and swipes of weapons were exchanged between the two forces across the room. What was an organised battle soon turned into a bloodbath, the obstacles and size of the room greatly decreased the manoeuvrability of the men, strikes were quick and it was difficult to decipher who was who. Eventually through the midst of the battle three vesparians came out on top as the rest lay on the floor injured and unconcious. The Militia had suffered many casualties but they slowly began to rise as the brigands crawled and limped out of the Town Hall beginning their retreat. The militia were in close pursuit of the criminals as they fled vesper where the bandits took their last stand at vesper cemetary. The militia quickly beat them down, banishing them from the town and claiming victory over the battle.
The militiamen, injured and fatigue after the long battle returned to vesper where they retired to their chambers and the taverns to rest before their caravan was schedueled to leave for the south.

An hour or so later the Vesper militia and Dragoni Templars gathered at the swaggers for the second time, preparing to escort the caravan to the elven lands near trinsinc. Once ready the large force travelled with the Caravan provided by Vespers top crafter Michael to minoc moongate and onward until they reached the awaiting elves and their caravans. The force had reached the south safely without any threats or attacks. Once banded together, the Vesparian force and the elves set out to return to Vesper's Mint which suprisingly was yet again a safe journey. After exchanging goods, the elves headed back to their homelands and the force of vesper prepared to return to the swaggers.

Looking forward to a well earned beverage, the mens hopes were spoiled by news of a large covian force invading the mines to the North West of Vesper. Olk the governer of those lands was very displeased and angered by this act, which he demanded action be taken immediately. Captain Hanse rallied the Militia and the Dragoni Templars outside the mint and ordered a move to the North West to stop these Covians in their tracks. The force searched the mines along the moutainside, but at first there was no hope of finding these covians after finding numerous mines deserted. As they began to search the last remaining of the mines, a large wooden blockade was encounted with the covian force hiding behind. The Vesparian Force formed up outside the barricade as Hanse began negociations with the covians. Refusing to leave Vesper's lands, Hanse order his force to prepare for battle. On the order, the battle commensed; energy fields were placed behind the covians within the blockade trapping them and preventing their escape. Firebombs were thrown into the middle of their force followed by arrows and the powers of the magi's.

Covians began to return fire of arrows as their numbers started to fall to the might of Vesper. Trapped, burning and under heavy fire, the covians had no choice but to break out of their barricade towards the awaiting Vesparian Force. Vesper's tactics had succeeded, the remaining men of Cove's army were scattered, making them easy targets and allowed Vesper to pick them off one by one. Vesper had broke coves army and the men could smell victory but victory was far from their grasp yet as the covians were reforming in the forest, ready to put up a strong stand for Vespenland. Hanse commanded vesper's army to take cover within the mines and stand ready to fight for their homeland.

The Covians came storming up to the mine like a stampede and began to pour into the entrance but they soon had to retreat back out; as they could nay withstand the might of vesper's warriors attacking them directly and the magi with the archers blasting them from behind the warriors. After the covians had suffered heavy casualties, there was no way to go but forward. As the battle raged on, Hanse yelled out to charge. The Vesparian force charged out of the mine into the middle of the remaining covians where the enermies were struck down, with the rest fleeing into the forest. Captain Hanse gathered the Vesparians outside the mine where they cheered and bathed in their glory. Casualties were encountered but the battle was won, and the men continued to cheer as they returned to their hometown.

Hanse dismissed the force, which has been one of the largest forces for a long time in Vesper; the men disbanded to go rest and tend to their wounds.
The remaining militiamen headed to the mint for a victory game of Snakes and Ladders. Escaflowne, Hanse, Lyonya, Frost, Dane, Draxen, Rhyddin underwent a fun, cunning and painful game of snakes and ladders where after being last throughout the whole game, Escaflowne pulled a miracle and won it right at the very end, receiving a prize of 50,000 crowns from Hanse himself. After clearing up the mess they made, the miltiamen were about to retire to their chambers when a Yewish Marksman appeared at the bank asking to speak with Kiran the Bar manager of Swaggers. He was immediately surrounded by the militia and taken prisoner where he was escorted to the swaggers to meet Kiran. They found the swaggers empty but decided to wait for Kirans return, which he did return....but it didnt go as they expected. Kiran turned up pissed as a mule claiming to be a polarbear, making no sense of him whatsoever, Hanse saw no reason to question him while he was drunk, but to wait for another day when he had sobered up, so Kiran was let go. The militia stood outside the swaggers curious over what to do with this Yewman but eventually came to the conclusion of taking him to trinsinc to sell him off there.

The Militia travelled to Trinsinc where they were met by kaldorians, the duchy and civilians bystanding. As the militia tryed to sell the prisoner off to the kaldorians, the duchy armed up and hostile talks underwent between Hanse and the Lord of the duchy. The duchy seemed intent on attacking the militia as they accused them of attacking upon a previous date. The Militia armed up on Hanse's command and prepared to meet this threat using the prisoner to fight for their advantage. A short fight took place between the Vesper Militia and the Duchy as the duchy were quickly disposed of. While this fight was underway, the kaldorians saw fit to try and steal the militia's prisoner from them. The militia were not prepared to take this from those treacherous kaldorians, with a few accurately placed spells and the fighting capabilities of Lance and even the Yewish Marksman; they quickly left the kaldorians eating their own soil. The militia and the prisoner quickly dispersed to the moongate where Hanse released the yewman to send a message to Lord Protector Klion, to take this deed into consideration when they meet on the battlefield. After a long days work, the remaining worn out militiamen Lyonya, Escaflowne, Hanse and Lance returned to Vesper to get their well deserved rest.

Vesper took many casualties on this day, but in return gained many victories over their enermies; it can be told that upon this day that few stood against many. It was a great day and outstanding victory for Vesper
