Fighting is part of RP.. fighting is as part of RP as talking. Just cos you like fighting a lot doesn't make you any less of a RPer than someone who is one of these "non-pvp" people.

This thread is quite amusing as it matches one thats have appeared numerous times on the Drake and Dragon and ALLGM forums. Half the community thinks you should be a prisoner if you die, the other half (which includes myself) says that you CHOOSE to become a prisoner.

I never take prisoners from battles, why would I? As far my character is concerned he's just 'killed' that person and thus he'd have no interest in taking them captive. IF at the start of our fight the clear intention had been to take a prisoner, then thats a different matter, but in run of the mill fight then they are 'dead'.

When this came up previously the general agreement was that if you didn't want to be captured you should stay clear of your corpse long enough for folk to get the signal - which I did. I remained hidden nearby and waited for you to depart, but you didn't so I just 'melted away'.

I have allowed myself to be captured by a few guilds in CoRE and I only enjoyed the experience once. The remaining times I was either left alone in a cell, or tortured to ridiculous levels. Not saying Grd gives amuch better experience mind, but it's rare we take prisoners after killing them.

Yeah, I find it very strange that one should be punished for being a roleplayer.

Two of my roleplaying chars don't have PvM skills at all, but one does, and no one has the right to tell me that I can't use my chars for things besides roleplaying...

Edit: This concerns that one should or should not be able to use RP chars for hunting.

I think this thread was mostly ment to be a IC story. Like a propaganda post similar to what Trinsic and Yew has done to us hehe.
