Jen was the oldest of two children. Always well mannered, but mischevious were her daily becomings. Borne outside of Moonglow to a poor family, she left in her mid 20's to join the Novious Regium Clades. Although she often spoke her opinion bluntly.. fighting she was not accustomed to. Many a days work ended in Trinsic chatting with common folk. None of this would effect her life, like the meeting of Garod Tremere. She had seen him before several times. Allured by all his seemingly perfection, he had caught her starring at him in Britian, but she quickly looked away. Again she seen him in Trinsic standing there, looking upon her, what is it about him thats so alluring she wondered. This went on for a week or so when he finally introduced himself. He spoke with a accent and wisdom like none other. He took her places, and told her stories, introduced her to people.. all these people shared the same beauty, wisdom, and alluring nature about them. The unknown indeed holds so much beauty. Weeks went by as the meetings continued, until one day Jen asked, how is it you know so much about everything..and he smiled a mischevious smile and replied softly, asking if she "REallY " wanted to know " how " But Indeed she did. The answer not what she expected. He told her everything, well what she thought was everything.. *chuckles* The unknown became known and the known too... was that much more inviting, she wanted all he had. The eternal beauty, and all the powers that came with it. You can guess the rest by yourself surley? Embraced she was, alot has changed since those days. Was it worth doing? All that and more she said smiling.. Still complelled to know more? Maybe then seek Jen.. shes the only one who truley knows the complete story.. -------------------------------------- Alynora 4th-October-2004, 19:00 *cough* I need too many pages... and too many books.. But a good portion of it is already in the library.. *wimps out in posting it here* The only thing I can say is to please look up stories of the Fae, Seelie and Unseelie Courts as Alynora is actually a Sidhe and not Elven, tho she masquerades as one. She's been one ever since her creation some 6-7 years ago. ------------------------------------------ Garod Tremere 5th-October-2004, 10:29 *suggestion* This is the story of Tarif Sameh Elder of the House of Tremere. Alucard was born of a nobel family with a large estate neat to the bustling town of Zento. Before the day of woe, when the Gaijin mages managed to rip holes of magic between the lush lands of Takuno and the barren inhosiptable lands known as Britannia, Alucard's father was a Samurai in the service of the Shogun himself and had great hopes for his son to follow in his footsteps and likewise become a great and honorable samurai. Though Alucard took to the use of the sword quite well and did himself have a huge repect for honor, his often dark demnor began to show through and only worsened as he grew older, becoming impatient and power hungry to the extent he was the first in many generations to open his familys forbidden vault, having heared tell there was great power to be had there. And power there was. Contained within was a book of ancient Oni magic lore. Eyes glittering with anticipation Alucard grasped the book with both hands and was instantly stuck with a pain great than any he had felt before. Hissing through clenched teeth Alucard held onto the book as though his very life depended upon it, and indeed it did. Though he survived Alucard was forever cursed by the Kami that had protected the book to shun the life blood of creation instead drawing sustenance from the mournful cries of the dead and the dammed through his black bladed sword. Alucard's woe increased manifold when he realised that though he could sence the power of the book he could not read the works written within to harness the power. Unsuprisingly the villagers did not take too kindly to being ruled by a Cursed lord, and, with the permission of the Shogun, did storm Alucard's ancestral home and burnt it to the ground. Since that time Alucard wandered the palins of Takuno untill the day the portals of blue light opened across the land and gaijin began to spill through. Though it took many seasons Alucard managed a rudimentary understanding of the gaijin language and philosophys. Combining them with his own he became quite knowledgeable but was always trying to turn this knowledge to a use to better himself. He finally found the opertunity on his first visit to the gaijin town of Trinsic where he met a curious bunch of people who were pale of skin, even more so than most of the other gaijin, but beutiful and alluring in their own way. The suposed leader of the group, a tall lean man by the name of Garod, spoke with Alucard at length about certain views and philosophys and was even able to identify the cursed book Alucard carried with him. Impressed by the mans knowledge, Alucard offered his services to Garod and his house at which point Alucard learnt the true nature of the group. Intrigued at the prospect of eternal life and even the posibility of being able to remove the curse which aflicts him Alucard pledged his loyalty to Lord Garod of the Tremere. -------------------------------------- Malagant 26th-May-2005, 18:33 This is the story of Valierus, Ghoul of Tremere. Valierus was born poor. He lost his parents very early on in his life and had to resort to petty theft and muggings. Life seemed even bleaker when he was eventually caught by local Minocian soldiers and forced to work in the mines for almost 8 years. At the age of 20 he was released and ventured to Britain to join Lord British's army as a lowly footman. After spending 2 years in the army, he grew fond of hard hitting hammers and mauls. He had grown tremendously in strength during his military service, but he had also become bitter at life in general. He decided to head to Trinsic after the army, in the hopes of getting rich by selling Shade to young nobles who just wanted to rebel against their parents. Late one night when hungry, he needed some fast coin and ventured into the tavern. There he saw Jenwhittet who looked very wealthy to his eyes. A prime target for a little mugging he thought. However, something stirred in him and a deep sense of dread overcame him. Dread and power. He realized that he wished to posess the same powers that Jenwhittet seemed to have, and slowly, step by step walked up to her and bowed his head. ----------------------------------------- Dalamir 26th-May-2005, 20:57 This is the story of "Dalamir Malorn" Born on the outskirts of Magincia, Dalamir was an only child. His father, an arch magus of high standing, ensured Dalamir was familiar with magic, alchemy and history and so sparked his interest at a young age. Throughout his youth, Dalamir knew nothing of the outside world, instead his thoughts were confined to study and practice of his magical art. Although at first content to walk in his fathers footsteps, by the age of twenty five, Dalamir began to question the wisdom of his fathers teachings...He resented his fathers 'weakness' in showing compassion to "outsiders" as well as his refusal to explore the darker side of magic. It was around this time that his mother, whom he cared for deeply, was struck down by a terrible illness that afflicted much of the city. Working tirelessly, Dalamir attempted to find a cure that could save his dieing mother. After much study, he knew he had found a solution. A solution his father would never approve. In secret, he used an ancient artifact known only as a "bloodstone" with the hopes draining some of his own life energy thus restoring his dieing mother to perfect health. As he placed the pendant on her forehead, he began the ritual as best as he could remember...He could only watch in horror as the pendant began to drain the little remaining life she had and added it to his own. His mother laying dead at his feet, Dalamir grasped the pendant and fled into the night...knowing he could never return. The taste of life still fresh in his mind, Dalamir realized the potential of the evil artifact he held and after many hours of wandering he came across a young woman, whose pale skin an dark eyes attracted him like a moth heading to a flame. Smiling to himself as he approached his pray, he began to utter the words to a sleep spell and watched as the beautiful young woman slipped under his power. Placing the blood stone upon her forehead he began the ritual he had preformed just hours before....It was then that he realized his mistake... Writhing in pain and agony, dalamir knew he had been tricked... Sitting up, the young woman smiled wickedly and watched in satisfaction as the mage before her suffered in excruciating pain. "And so..the hunter has become the hunted." she hissed through closed teeth, all the while never lifting her eyes from her pray. Finally satisfied the young mage had learned his mistake, the woman, whos pale skin and bright eyes seemed to glow in the darkness whispered in his ear... "I can offer you what you seek, young one" The smile on her face growing "but not through use of these magic toys!" she crushed the pendant between her slender fingers and Dalamirs pain suddenly ceased. He noded weakly. He knew the power this woman possessed, it was the very thing he had wanted his entire life...Closing his eyes he embraced the darkness, all the while feeling the womans teeth sink deeply into his neck. (OOC: My apologies for posting my character story under this thread, having a few problems with the guild membership application *curses firewall*) ------------------------------------------------------ Rikku 29th-May-2005, 00:13 This is the story of Rikku Surion Rikku, being an elf, has had a very long life in Sosaria. She first settled in Yew with a small group of elves trying to rebuild a lost community, but the numbers were too low, and the Yew Guard wouldn’t stop attacking and burning what little buildings we had. It came down to the group deciding to split up and take different paths. Myself and my old friend Kelton stayed in Yew; found a small village called Oakdale, and joined their cause. Following the teaching and word of the Inashatar guardians, we were declared protectors of the forest, loving nature and killing those who hurt it. This group would soon pass, as our leader Caggun become enraged killing himself. Now he is an undead of the crypts of yew. With our leader dead, this group died off and everybody went their separate ways. I stayed and lived in Yew for some time after that, till it came to a day I woke up and found a flyer that must of got stuck as the wind blew it past. It was a recruitment form for Cove Militia. I gathered a few things, got my steed ready and set off for Cove. On arrival, I was met by some Vesper guards. I showed them the flyer and they took me to a small building where I was welcomed by Shadwell and Octavious. We talked for a bit, telling what skill I had and where I was from. After the passing of information, he handed my recruit badge and life began in cove. Being there about 2 years now, as a regular guard, a war rose up with Kaldorians. We had allies, one which were most seen the Knights Hospitallers. After these battles raged on a bit, a training night was arranged for the Knights and Cove. We all met, said "hello’s" and "how are you’s", when the Kaldorians burst through the doors of the Knight’s HQ. I turned round, seeing the baron and all his men running through a gate back to Cove. I was enraged, I ,of course, stayed to help, but we were well overrun. With the actions I saw the baron take, my will to aid him was destroyed. The knights offered me a place within their order. I took it willingly. Again I got myself safe and secure for a couple of years, till the Lady Tabbitha decided to throw the footman rank out the window and set every person to "squires" except the rangers. In doing this, I was also set a teacher, Miladoule, to teach me the ways of the virtues. I really didn’t want to go into but being forced to learn the ways, I became arrogant, disobedient till the Lady locked me up in a monastery in Vesper to write 8 books full on the virtues each day. Getting more frustrated till it came to the 5th day, I became enraged, destroying the whole monastery breaking out of there, I traveled to Trinsic, where Laurna, my new commander, confronted me and demanded I get back to Vesper. I told her "no", so she chased me all round Trinsic till I lost her. As I was running round, I bumped into a hooded stranger who asked what I was running from. I told her chatting away until I forgot about Laurna. As I saw her stepping toward me with a drow (a drow that I hate for life now) Kilsek, both trying to get me now to KH HQ prisons, I took my sword and thought, "let’s make this harder for em, Bugger…" He thrust the sword straight through my left leg. Faint from the blood loss, I next woke up in the prison cells of KH HQ. But to my surprise, the hooded stranger I bumped in to was talking to Laurna and Kilsek. I also noticed they had left me with all my weapons including my axes on my back. I waited for time to pass till Laurna was just around asking her "open the door, I want to talk". She walked in, leaving the door open too. I took a deep breath then struck her down with my axes. Slowly I limped away from the cells, then again bumped into the hooded stranger. This time I asked her name, she replied Moira, I smiled to her and inquired what she did and all. After she told me and gave me the tome to the Tremere family, I became interested. I got to my horse painfully, lifted myself up and rode back to Yew to my house where I rested and healed my wounds. After my long rest, I traveled back to Trinsic where I was confronted again by Laurna saying she didn’t know why Tabbitha kept me. I replied, "Well, it’s up to her to take my badge." She reassured me she could. In that move I ripped my badge of myself and threw it into the woods. Now I went on the search for Lord Garod to ask him if I could join the Tremere family. In finding him a couple of days later, we sat down and talked in Hew’s castle near the Trinsic west gate. The talk went on and I was welcomed to Tremere ![]() ![]() "You know…there’s an element of truth to every child’s tale and legend… and it’s usually worse than we ever want to remember.” House of Tremere: www.xs4all.nl/~garod1 |

![]() ![]() | Re: Tremere Character Stories (reposted) And on we go with some more.... -------------------------------------- Arne Kimmer 29th-May-2005, 01:31 This is the story of Mr. K. (alias Arne Kimmer) of the Corporation. Arne Kimmer was born at the time Blackthorn was living in his castle in Britain, serving as one of his blacksmith in the palace's forge. During a special journey with a team of Blackthorn's most trustworthy men, Arne and his fellows died in mysterious circumstances. (more details here (http://www.btinternet.com/%7Escarlek/history.htm) ) Some hundred years ago, he was raised back from the dead by a strange power that led to create the Disciple of Chaos, with at their head Lord Scarleck, once Paladin of Blackthorn and leader of the former team that was strangely slained. After several years living in the forest of Yew with a family of local lumberjack, Arne left them one night after slaying them all. He joined his former comrades where he became a resourceful preacher of Chaos and Blackthorn's ideology, as well as an extremely violent fanatic that led him to commit several crimes and atrocious and sadic torture. Yet Arne raised his skills in manipulating mind. He fell once more by the sword of the Knight Templar during the trial of the traitor Sherena, a death that allowed him to get more power and sublimating his daemonic condition, his soul being totally dedicated to the Abyss. Arne returned with machiavelic and quite fantaisist plan of world conquest, although he excelled in showing his brutality and evilness which granted him legions of ennemies. Then one day, the threat of Arne strangely dissappeared in -again - unknown circumstances, but rumours said that his former "sister" destroyed him, action that cost her life as well (more details here (http://www.btinternet.com/%7Escarlek/endofarne.htm)). Arne managed to remain in the spirit world, spreading his nefarious influence on other's souls and most especially the notorious slaver Mehdi Ibn Salaad whom he helped getting back to life after his beheadal in Nujel'm by the psychopath general Montgomery and through a ritual orchestrated by Venom d'Orsay. Using his powers, Arne made to Mehdi the gift of some of his daemonic essence, which confered to Mehdi an unstoppable rage and determination in managing his inhuman business. With time passing by, Arne reached a status over life and death for his dedication to Evil. Having served Evil very well, Arne reached the sphere of the Council of Balance, in which Good and Evil are confronting in order to keep the balance of the world. He nows act as one of its main actor, by incarnating either a concept of one side or the other, according to what the world needs. With the Corporation, Arne alias Mr. K, came back for a precise purpose that probably deals with the Balance of the world. Being part of another dimension of the world, Arne is restrained by the Universal Law that forbids him to directly act physically on the beings part of the living and dead world. ------------------------------------- Jade Bastet 31st-May-2005, 04:45 The Origin of Jade Bastet I was born under the blue moon in a city called Moonglow to two very loving parents. When I turned two my family's house burned to the ground because of a candle in the kitchen. My father, mother, and brother were killed. The community found me in the haystacks fast asleep. I was quickly taken to my Aunt Fia's house where I was inducted in The Sisterhood of the Moon at such an early age of three. My aunt was the coven's matron and governed it with an iron fist. No crops grew unless she was given proper tribute. My gifts grew phenomenally under her tutorage. Soon I was given the honor of being bonded with a wind elemental at age ten. At fifteen I found myself at odds. My elemental abilities allowed me to feel the happiness, sadness, and pain of others. The gift allowed me to weed out the members of the sisterhood who wished to turn away and harm the coven. The guilty was executed where they stood. The act of execution upset the rest of the community. Feeling fearful for their lives the people of Moonglow hired a group of zealot fighters and soon the sisterhood was hunted and scattered to the four winds. They caught up with my aunt and she was burnt to ash. I traveled around the world to find others of my sisterhood but to no avail. That was till I met up with Jen..... I have heard of a group of powerful beings that frequented Trinsic, I had a spy follow them for several days. I then met up with them and wanted an audience so that I may find out more about them. Garod was their leader, his eyes were deep and powerful. When I am with him, I feel like he would consume my being if I looked too long. I want the power and life to get my revenge on Moonglow for my fallen sisters and to burn the zealots who murdered them. --------------------------------------- Kaeron [Tre] 3rd-June-2005, 07:46 This is the story of Kearon Tremere: Kaeron sat in the corner of the tavern with his head down, making eye contact with no one. He’d been here many times before, of course, but never under these circumstances. It seemed busier than ever before, which worried him greatly; he could not fail. He glanced up very rarely, fixing his gaze on a young guard with a streak of blonde hair, who sat laughing with a friend. As time progressed, the locals gradually trickled out of the tavern. The barkeep kept glancing at his watch with a sigh, Kaeron took this as a sign that soon the night would soon be over. The barkeep cleared his throat and began to speak “Alright lads, time to go, I need me kip” There were only three people left at this point including Kaeron and the blonde upstart. “You too Slim…” he glanced at Kaeron. The guard stood and strode towards the door with a quick glance at his friend. “See ya later, porky” He had a cheerful voice, Kaeron noted. “Yeh better stop callin’ me tha’…”Replied his friend, in a low grunt. Kaeron was pleased to see them go separate ways as they reached the outside. He stood quietly, nodding to the barkeep as he made his way to the door. He went the way of the blonde guard, pursuing him silently. He kept to the shadows as he neared the guard. He was nervous, but he knew he’d succeed. Just two feet away from the now very much alone guard, he straightened his right arm out swiftly as a dagger shot down his sleeve and into the steely grasp of his fist. He reached out in front of him with his left arm and grabbed the guard round the neck with a strength that defied his physical appearance. “What the… Who is this?” The guard struggled for a moment. It was futile. He offered no reply as he raised the green hued dagger to the throat of the guard and sliced with sickening ease. A subdued whimper was the only noise as the lifeless body of the guard slumped in his arms. He dragged the corpse to the river, deciding dumping him here would be a good a place as any. The body splashed into the water as the assassin slipped away into the night. Three months later. He smirked as he wiped the blood onto his trademark red apron. He looked up into the pitch black night sky and allowed himself a quick sigh of relief. Was this getting easier or harder? The truth was it was getting easier. His last few marks had been an exception; very challenging situations that provided a large sack of gold for their completion. In reality he was now an accomplished killer. The best part was very few people even knew his name or even knew of his existence. He frequently applied subtle changes to his appearance and became friendly with no one. He was always very reclusive, spending time in taverns and other high profile areas as a means of observation rather than socialisation. This suited him, as it perhaps would suit any assassin. His contracts were handled through an organisation. He was told who to kill, where they are likely to be and a few other details he needed to build up a profile of his mark. He’d usually spend a week observing the patterns of his victim before striking; it was a routine he was getting very good at. Because of his reclusive and highly secretive nature, he could count on one hand the people he could trust. One of these people was Garod Tremere. At this point, the respect and trust was based simply on Garod’s ability as a fighter. He once watched from a distance as Garod slaughtered seven experienced rangers who had surrounded him. He wasn’t aware of the reasons for their hostility, he was simply observing from the shadows. Either way, the rangers found Garod and threatened him, though the exact nature of the conversation is lost to him, he’ll never forget the fight that followed. Garod picked them off one by one without moving more than a few steps. He didn’t run away, or attempt to hide. He simply stood his ground and killed them all. 6 Months later The contracts were drying up. Kaeron had quite a large pile of gold due to his successes, but this wasn’t enough. He was a killer at heart and without the business he was lost. Members were gradually leaving and the average contract buyer tended to go with large groups of mercenaries to be on the safe side. There was little that could be done to revive the fortunes and so he took the decision to leave. Some weeks later, Kaeron came across Garod. They spoke a little, discussing some of the highlights of their time together in the ‘Executioner’s guild’. Inevitably, He brought up the subject of Garod’s stunning triumph over the rangers. He explained he’d never seen such a display of power and wanted to learn the source of it. After further discussions, Garod explained his roots as a Vampire. He was intrigued and considered the possibility of joining him. He didn’t want to rush into anything, of course, and spent some months after this learning everything he could about vampires. He knew it was something he couldn’t turn away from. He needed something to justify committing himself like this and this was it; Kaeron, approaching his mid-thirties, was worried about the affects the process of aging would have on his abilities. Having spent time discussing this with Garod, he learnt that this would no longer be an issue and so he chose to accept Garod’s offer. The embrace was excruciating. He felt his blood depart from his body at a worrying pace. He slumped, feeling very weak. He barely knew where he was. Everything was a blur as he noticed the distant silhouette of Garod slicing into his wrist. Garod held his wrist out for Kaeron who instinctively took his hand and placed his lips round the cut. He struggled to take in the blood, sucking as quickly as he could as the blood trickled down his throat. As was apparently customary, and certainly necessary, they both went out to hunt together in their ravenous state for the first time as Sire and Childe. Both replenished, He was given a task and set upon it. Little has changed to this day; Kaeron is given a task and attempts to complete it to its fullest as per his master’s wishes. He remains ever loyal and that is unlikely to change. --------------------------------------------------------- Geronimo 5th-June-2005, 10:45 The story about Demos. Demos was born in Moonglow before the breaking of the world. He was the son of a Councilor and his parents were both very strict to him. When he got 8 years old they hired a Grandmaster scholar to teach him the ways of Magic. Demos got real fond of working with magic flows and studied it real hard to get away from his parents. But the knowledge of magic was never enough. He was still ageing.. He could never find all the knowledge he wanted before he was to old. Demos started looking for a "cure" to his age. When he was 15 years old he found a way. It wouldnt cure him.. But it would slow the effect of age. He gathered all ingredients and read loudly in the book with the spell in. When he was done he stared forward but nothing had happened. Demos cursed softly to himself and then everything went black. Demos woke up next morning on the ground with a headache. Asked himself: "Did i suceed"? At this time in his age he also noticed a talent of his.. He could get his will out easy with just talking. Provoking and manupulating people and he used it more and more. The years passed, The breaking of the world came and he lost his magic book in the riots. The spells to slow age were gone. But the spelled had worked on him, He aged slower. The search for more power and knowledge drew him to Trinsic. He spent most his time in the Library but also studied the different kind of Human races that visited Trinsic. He saw Women with fur.. He saw drows, gnomes, elves. All different kinds that he only read about. One day when he was sitting in the Library in Trinsic a woman came in, she was looking betwen the shelves for a book but she glanced towards Demos all the time. Demos got intressted in her. Her eyes.. yes her eyes. Nothing he had seen before. He went up to talk to her. He knew women were not hard to manupulate for him. But this woman.. Made him work hard. No effect on her.. Demos got frustrated. Asking himself: "Why doesnt it work, she is just a woman"!? Instead she talked to him about knowledge and power. The big library in Naeloth.. Demos hummed softly while thinking of all power. But Time was still against him. Then she said it. She could make Demos live forever. Demos was hooked. ------------------------------ Roderrick Falcon-san 3rd-August-2005, 11:22 This is the short version of my characters story I will be posting her true story in a journal like thing later. She has spent many nights talking with Jade and jade has managed to gain her trust and help her fight her darkness and welcomed her with open arms into the family. her old family has disowned her and think her dead. ------------------------------------------- Gwydion 3rd-April-2006, 23:45 This is the story of Blake Brone My name is Blake Brone, I never met my parents, and now never care too. I was found by a tavern keeper in the woods. i did odd jobs around the tavern until the age of 12. On a dark night soon after my 12th birthday some mercenaries, wearing red skulls on their uniforms, came into the tavern looking for some “fun”. A fight started quickly and the mercenaries brutally murdered the tavern staff, but leaving me tied to a tree to watch the place burn and any family I ever knew perish. I was freed from the tree by the locals coming to see what happened. I soon found the company of another band of mercenaries and followed them around for almost a year, picking up some useful weapon skills and a thirst for the rush of battle, whether fair or not. I split off from the mercenaries and picked up my own jobs as a bounty hunter, bodyguard, or any other such job I could find to tune my skills. When I turned 15 I had relatively mastered my weapon skills as best I could and happened to wonder into a town where I saw horses outside, bearing red skulls on their saddles. I of course searched the town, quickly locating the band of mercenaries in yet another tavern.. I figured this must be a game to them, as they started a fight just as they had years back. I watched as the fight escalated, I waited for them to tire slightly. Without them even noticing I walked around the tavern and latched all the windows and then jammed them and the doors, all except the main door. I stood in the doorway waiting for them to finish there scuffle. The leader looked up to see me, standing in the doorway, watching them, “Who the ‘ell are you!” he yelled. I glanced at a book that lay open on a table, a word caught my eye, “Brone” which was defined as Sorrow, looking back to this man who had caused me the pain of my child hood, I answered just loud enough for him to hear “I am Blake Brone” and dropped a torch, walking out I turned and latched the door. Standing just under some trees I watched the tavern burn in the night. It crossed my mind there were still innocent people inside, I shrugged, realizing I didn’t care anymore, I had finished what I wanted, let a few innocent people die with them. --------------------------------------------------- Mordro Wyrmsbane 9th-May-2006, 04:23 This is the story of Mordro Wyrmsbane. Slave to the house of Tremere I was born to a poor woodsman near Umbra. As life grew hard I was sold into slavery at the age of seven by my father. I guess as fathers go he wasnt much of one. 2 years after my indenturement I heard he was killed in a brawl in a tavern of a gold coin dropped on the ground. I miss him not. I was sold into the service of a Necromancer named Lythbane. He was a cruel man whos passion for torture took its toll on my young body. After one of his rampages it would take weeks for me to heal. More than once I felt the icy hands of death take its grip on my neck. Only years later would that feeling become ironic. I studied under Lythbane the arts of magic and necromancy. Little did we know that me and the other two slaves were being prepared for a ritual to help him become a lich. He had made a bargain with several powerfull Liches in Deciet to join them. After his transformation his bloodlust became almost unbearable. For several years he forced us to train daily to perfect our skills. All the while protecting him and covering up his murderous rages that he undertook on the local farmers. Twelve years after my enslavement this would all come to an end. Lythbane had been on one particular raid where he slaughtered a farmer and its family. He had ventured far from Umbra, to close to Luna. The retribution for is bloodlust came swiftly the next day. The paladins sought out the lair and set upon it. I was knocked unconsious in the fight. When I came too I was in a cell. After a short and very uneventfull trial I was sentenced to be hung by the neck until dead. The irony in all this is as they put the rope over my neck the icy hands of death became very real. Perhaps my youthfull imagination had been an vision of an impending fate. I resurrected but was banished from Malas for life. I have yet to return but one day I will. I have travelled for several months and finally found refuge as a slave to the House of Tremere. It sould seem that I am unable to change my stars. A life of servatude awaits me. I can only hope this master has less of a bloodlust for servants..... (OOG Comment, Mordro wears a Gorget/Collar to cover the rope burns of being hung.) ![]() ![]() "You know…there’s an element of truth to every child’s tale and legend… and it’s usually worse than we ever want to remember.” House of Tremere: www.xs4all.nl/~garod1 |

![]() | Re: Tremere Character Stories (reposted) This is the story of Augustus Vile Born in the city of Magincia, Augustus live a normal life. His father was a fisherman, his mother was a loving mother. Nothing of real importance happened during his child hood, not until he turned 12 and basically "got bored" of living with his family, he decided to take a trek through the moongate to the city of Haven. There he met with a wise mage named Lyle. He took Augustus under his wing and told him that if he did his part and helped the mages in the shop, in return he would teach him how to use magic. He did so until he hit 18, Lyle had taught him everything he knew and believed Augustus was ready to face the world alone. Although upset to be leaving Lyle, who he treated as a father, he embraced his magic knowledge and went on a killing spree outside of Haven. No one knows what turned him like this, he was a nice lad say some of the mages. But he spent his years from 18 to 20, killing innocent guards located south of the island of Haven. By killing and robbing them, he managed to make a small fortune. With his fortune, he was able to purchase a small house along the rivers outside of Trinsic. It is said that he enjoys to retreat there and do some fishing. No one knew it was him behind this masacre and still he walks the streets of Haven. It was Haven that he met Lord Fargo leading him to the stage of his life that he is at now. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Augustus; 7th January 2007 at 08:03 PM. |

![]() | Re: Tremere Character Stories (reposted) This is the story of Orlando. I don't recall much of my childhood, but I know that I was found roaming about the woods near Vesper by a local fisherman. He and his wife gave me shelter, but I never felt that they were my family. I grew up in the docks, helping in the fishing and watching all the travellers that come and go. Good times, those spent with the girls and the adventurers at the inn. I really didn't do much until one day when a strange feeling seized me. It was like a calling, but I was unsure where to go. I left the town and started looking for my destiny, I suppose. Much different was the rest of the country, dangerous. Wherever I'd go things were trying to kill me, and, for much surprise of mine, I was more in tune with the sword than I ever supposed. I quickly could overcome the creatures that roam the woods. My travels took me to Trinsic, during the Moot, where I was hoping for some fun and relaxation. This was where I met Sir Fargo and Lady Jade Bastet who was in need of someone to aid in some tasks. I agreed. |

The only thing i know about my childhood nobody really want me. I saw a few families but sooner or later they gave me away. I lerned that you don´t get anything only you are nice. everything has a price, the only question is can you pay it. So i decided to take what i want. The only way you can get what you want is power. So i was searching since i was young to become great power. I have learned that only to become a mighty slayer isn´t the right way. I want more. The greatest power of all is wisdom. And so i found the House of Tremere. And here i found the family i´ve never had before. |

![]() | Re: Tremere Character Stories (reposted) This is the story of Noixiata Vallere Born in Trinsic she had a comfertable childhood and life growing up. She felt a kind of isolation due to her parents watching over her every step. They were just loving parents, but it was an obvious limitation to her freedom. She was more or less freed from their chains in a horrible accident when she was 21. Learning quickly the ways of her heritage, she also learned more about her parents. Her mother was a well known trader in closed circles around Britannia. Her speciality was relics and rather old stuff. It seemed natural pick up where her mother left off. Noixiata soon discovered distaste for the mundane trading and the entire concept of making a living this way. She did well, but it reminded it too much of all of her parents daily routines and life. Leaving the old trade behind, she liquidated all funding and made it available for a new passion. She took a fondness into travelling and studying animals and strange creatures. Only a hobby at first she soon discovered it could be a life-consuming occupation. Her favourite became the wolf. As she advanced with a scholars patience, she began to get the feeling she was being followed. No matter how many times she had her servants check the quarters she never felt she was completely alone. This was during her travels in southeast Britain. Noixiata had taken ill as she stayed in Trinsic, she was still able to do simpler tasks but were adviced to restrain from further expeditions at the moment. She woke up each day a little weaker. At the same time, a silhuette of a girl was haunting her dreams, the background burning so it was impossible to see the face, only very clearly the figure. Two days in a row she saw similar mysterious pale lady at the south bank. At first she was do absent minded to make the connection. On the third day it was too late. The pale girl had transfixed Noixiata this time. The guards were conviniently occupied looking after a petty thief trying to rob an old man at the provisioneer. The girls went to an alley, and this is were Noixiata's memory ceases. After this there is no distinct memory leave the one of her creator, Ra'Karn Moon, and his mistress sirene, Clarice. Noixiata had died and risen. She was now a member of the Spectral Court. She did what she had to survive after surviving the embrace. It was not a good time to turn as there were many who would destroy any one of her kind would they be given the slightest chance. She grew more powerfull with her new mentors, but was gravely wounded in a siege at Naeloth. Retreating to a swamp north of Trinsic, she found a chapel in Paws which seemed in collapsing state. She was now completely on her own. There were some kind people living there who helped her recover, not knowing they had sealed their fate forever. They all stayed there for quite a few years.. Noixiata is now well established at this chapel, but she feels very alone. Using rouges as ears and ravens as eyes, she searches for her brothers and sisters in the night who might have survived the countless tragedies that had fallen upon her kind. ![]() ![]() ![]() "..the first lesson: that we must be powerful, beautiful and without regret.." - Armand Last edited by noixiata; 2nd July 2007 at 02:23 PM. ![]() | Re: Tremere Character Stories (reposted) This is the Story of Ebony Rani. Ebony is the only child of Casandra Rani of Moonglow. Her mother has worked most of her life as a barmaid in the local tavern. Ebony was the resulting offspring of a very brief affair, a drunken one night stand of her mother a pointed ear'd stranger who after much ale she found strangely attractive and spent the night with. Because her mother was in her late teens at the time of Ebony's arrival into this world and because of her mothers lack of knowledge of children and of elves she grew up in the local tavern, the odd stranger being her babysitter until the age of four when she was pretty much left to fend for herself. She learnt a fair bit about the general tavern trade as well as a deal about gambling, drinking and how to protect herself from flying glasses although she did not recieve any schooling of such. When she turned 12 her mother, her mothers latest boyfriend and herself moved to trinsic when her mother continued in the barmaid trade and where Ebony learnt a great deal from the local archery range and the constant stream of passing traders and travellers. All her life she has been treated as worthless, as nothing and mostly ignored by her mother and other staff at the establishment her mother worked out, she does a few chores, just enough to earn her board and keep and the odd bread crust. She has lost all reason for living and finds the dull menal tasks she performs day in and day out meaningless and barely worth continuing, the world seems that it could quite happily carry on as if she never existed Last edited by Ebony R; 2nd July 2007 at 04:19 AM. |

![]() ![]() | Re: Tremere Character Stories (reposted) This is the story of Fayte Knightmare. Fayte's youth was lifeless and miserable. Her mother abandoned her straight after birth, and as her father was dead, she was left with her grandfather . He decided to name her after something he beleived strongly in. He did his best to provide for her, but his heart was not in bringing up a child. He lived in a wooden cabin on the outskirts of Umbra. On Fayte's sixteenth birthday, a handsome man appeared at the cabin, asking if she wanted to buy some of the meat he happened to be selling. She asked him to come in, and they talked. He tolled her his name was Vad and she fell in love with him straight away. She told him how she was unhappy, and of her worries and problems. Vad told her he could take her away from it all, give her a new life, a fresh start. Never one to miss a chance, she jumped on his horse with him and he took her away into the night, with no intention of returning. After spending some time with Vad, she began to grow suspicious. He never seemed to eat...he never went out at day..she questioned his behaviour for months before he gave in to her, and revealed his secret. He was a vampire. Fayte felt tricked, and lost. This man was a monster, but she loved him and needed to be with him, and she eventually decided that if he turned her, she could be with him forever. It was a small price to pay..she thought. Vad told her that she would regret the decision, but after she begged him for long enough, he gave her what she wanted. She travelled with Vad for several years, they searched for more of their kind. They had no luck. After torturing and biting a young bloke named Lucius, Fayte decided to turn him. He wanted to follow, so Vad decided to start a clan, which slowly grew. After many years spent together, the clan began to fall apart. Followers began to die at the hands of Vampire hunters, and the others deserted the group, including Lucius who has been most loyal. Eventually, there was only Fayte and Vad. They spent the next few years together, searching the night for any sign of vampire activity. One night Vad took her to see a performance she had been longing to see..Bite me, it was called. The actors looked and behaved just like real vampires. After watching the show, Vad spoke with some of the actors, he realised they actually were vampires...but not what he had hoped to find. These people were ruthless, senseless immortals. Fayte and Vad stayed with them for a year or two, and often heard them speak of a family of vampires. Fayte asked about this family, and was told they belong to the house of Tremere. The stories of this family enchanted her. She longed to belong to part of a proper family, not the group of negligent actors she felt she did not fit in with. So her and Vad left, and set out to look for the house of Tremere. Last edited by Fayte_Knightmare; 3rd July 2007 at 09:36 PM. |

![]() ![]() | Re: Tremere Character Stories (reposted) This is the story of Vad Tallon Inhaler He was born and raised in Serpents Hold as Vad Tallon. His father was a knight and as a boy Vad wanted to be just like him, training with a wooden sword that his father give him as a young boy. He was always by his fathers side, cleaning his armor and shield and copying his moves, hoping one day become a knight of the realm. His father was always fighting the undead and Vad was very eager to hear his tales. As many boys do in Serpents Hold, he was shipped off to military training. He was a keen and determined soldier but he was not the best as he always questioned and challenged his leaders. After Two years of service Vad received a letter telling him that his father had been killed by an Undead. So Vad planned an escape from military service and hid with rouges. Several years later Vad went to the City of Vesper to seek information about Vampires, his questions did not fall on deaf ears as a Vampire Hunter named Al'Runn James Inhaler was willing to take Vad as his apprentice. After five years of training with Al'Runn, Vad changed his name to Vad Tallon Inhaler or Vad T Inhaler and went on his own crusade against the Vampires. Vad was very good at his job and enjoyed it untill he came across a vampire who he hunted for almost a year, during the fight between Vad and this Vampire Vad's old mentor Al'runn interrupted and he had been turned. Vad lost his focus and that second was Vad's down fall. The Vampire turned him in to one of them to life forever with the guilt that everyone he has held dear to him was turned or killed by the thing he hated the most, Warped with guilt Vad did the only thing he could do....be a vampire and for years he walked Sosaria taking people torchering them men women and children listening to the screams of pain and beg for mercy filled vad with joy but it had nothing on, manipulating people, teasing them, and then when he got board he would kill everyone they knew and loved. One day Vad was selling meat that he had hunted because we all need coin, He came across a young girl named Fayte and Vad thought she was just another peace of fun to play with he listened to her tails. by this point Vad was getting lonely and took her with every intentions of making her a meal. Fayte and Vad spend alot of time together and she was slowly growing on Vad and she was always asking questions about him finaly telling her what he was and what he was planing to to do her fayte became distent and had nothing but disgust for him. After a while she realised she wanted to be with him forever and Vad tolled her the cost's and it was hard to live like this but her persistence was demon-like and he give into her. They both traveled together insuperable. Torturing and killing togethers until one day Fayte took a liking to one mortal called Lucius and Fayte turned him. Vad, Fayte and Lucius made a small clan but people did not like the idea of a clan of vampires. Many of them were too ambitious and got themselves killed, On the run again for 3 and a half years before they came across actors- vampires pretending to be vampires. The idea disgusted Vad but he was not thinking of himself he was thinking of Faytes survival and so they both stayed with them and they were telling them about a family of vampires and fayte wanted to be a part of a family. Vad had a few run-ins with Lady Jade Baset and thought it might be there best shot for making his life have meaning again. Last edited by Vad T Inhaler; 27th August 2007 at 07:30 AM. |
