Its allways a pleasure to have a new journal...And to begin first I best tell of my last few days..

I've been taken in under the "wing" of the Tremere.. and given several tasks to complete. The first was gathering hides. I gathered 3000 of them, and I have no idea of many animals I killed to get them.

The next was getting a rune to the "blackrock" mines.. It was hard..Augustus, a man who was interested in joining the tremere, came with me to try to find it. He couldn't mark a runestone, so that attempt did not go well. But finally, with Fargo and his aquaintance's help, we were able to get not only one, but two locations for the blackrock.

Augustus was put under my charge...If he fails, I fail. And quite frankly.. failure's not an option. I just hope that I don't push him too hard.

January 7th

I've been MIA for a few days.. I had set off to train more...To train harder, and only found myself getting lost in some black abyss of Britannia. Some say that only fools don't know where they're going...I guess I'm one of those fools. I just wandered, and wandered, having no real recolection of why I was doing it, but simply, that I was, and that I was supposed to be training. Once I had finally came to my senses, I returned home. Augustus wasn't home, I figured he must have been out training himself.

January 9th..

Lady Jade's forbidden me from seeing Augustus.. I don't know why she's done this. Surely its not because she wants to see me miserable..There must be some other reason. Or at least, I hope. All I know is that I feel empty.. and I dont' think anything will ever fill the space..
