when i awoke i headed to the Brigand fort, where i found a few Brigands outside in a small group so i started throwing rocks at them and made them chase me into the woods away from any reinforcements. There was a fight, two of them were Drows i believe they were sisters and two men. One was slim and the other was of a bigger build the sisters drew their weapons and attacked me. The scuffle went on for a while and i struck both of the Drows down. The bigger man came behind me and grabbed me. I struggled to grab my skinning knife from my boot and stabbed him in the leg. He released me then the slim man attacked with magic that caught me by surprise. I paralyzed him with my own magic, walked over to him and bit his neck. As the spell wore off his body became limp and slumped to the floor. I then turned to the Drows that were laying on the floor blood covering them and noticed one of them was still alive, struggling to breathe. I started to walk towards her she seemed to mumble something but i was unable to hear it. I drank from her sealed the marks and when i was finished i felt like a new born vampire again.

i made my way to Trinsic and it seemed the city was decorated for something. I seen a poster and read that it was Trinisic market today. I walked down to the tavern and there were a lot of people running around, trying to get stalls set up there was already people there buying from the stalls. I had a quick look around and went off to do some more hunting. I came back later on and there was an arena set up i thought there was a fight happening but it was poems and songs. People got up and gave their performance. Fayte and Jaston turned up to watch the festivities, it seemed that someone had not turned up so i said i would do a performance. I got up and said that it was a poem about a tortured soul...

After i was finished i said that it was dedicated to Fayte. There was other great pieces and some very funny ones too. The night went on and at the end they got us all to stand up and they judged us. I, with a Covian, came third and did not receive a prize but i was just happy i came third. I took a bow and went to walk home with Fayte. She went home and i walked back and on my way a pale young woman ran up behind me and tolled me to give her my money i was just about to grab my sword when Fayte returned. She had needed reagents. She walked up to us and said 'Damn vad.. your standards have dropped' like i would lay my lips on a 'rat'!

The pale one said i was lucky this time and she vanished. Fayte asked if i could make it ten feet without getting into trouble and made her way to Trinsic and i continued my journey back home.

Since my last entry i have been in rest. I was awaken by Fayte, she told me that there was going to be a ritual lecture by Lady Jade, and because i have been asleep i was starving and would not have time to eat. By the time i had gotten ready and made my way to Marble Island the lecture was in full swing so i just sat down quietly and tried to catch up. There were members of the family and a few people that i had not seen before.

During the lecture Lady Jade wanted us to go outside to give us a demonstration, she then gave me and some of the guests a bag with five gems, a golden dagger and some instructions. After the presentaion we went to the Tavern and gave some refreshments to our guests. Once Lady Jade left us i felt a breeze against my cheek then Jades voice telling us not to feed from our guests. They were under our protection. Omadon later left to go do a quest for the family later Fayte left and not long after that our guests left for the main lands.

I was reading the book and decided to try my hand at a ritual i went to Jhelom farms and stole a chicken took it back to where i live, put it in a box and started the ritual. I first aranged the five gems in a circle, then using the golden dagger i cut into my flesh and filled a bowl with my blood. I smeered all of the gems with my blood and repeated 'I bind this alter to my will' three times and the gems started glowing white then it looked like the gems soaked up the blood and glowed a dark red. I grabed the box with the chicken and placed it in the center opened the box and opened the lid i chanted 'I take this animal and release it's soul' i then killed the chicken layed it down and stood back. The gems glowed brighter and it seemed like a dome was formed and for a second i thought the chicken had been brought back to life but it's soul was standing there as if nothing had happened.

I then continued ' I take this Soul and invoke it into my self' its soul then was consumed by mine. I was knocked back and fell to my knees. I pulled my self together and i relised that my hunger had gone and i had seemed like i had ate ten people. I then went to the brigand fort and as soon as i arived i was attacked my two of them. I conjured a fireball and threw it at one of the men but as it got half way between myself and them, the fire ball split into two and hit both men and sent them hurtling backwards. I looked at my hand and was anstonished. I walked to the men i just hit to see the damage and both men had most of their hair burnt off. I concluded that this would keep me going for another deep sleep and next time i awake i will try this again, and possibly some new rituals next time.

When i awoke today i had no hunger and i was still very refreshed so i decided to go to despise to practice some sword techniques. After a while of practicing i made my way to Trinsic i bumped into a young woman and she tolled me that everyone was at Moonglow i thanked her and started to make my way there but there were a lot of people there. I waited for an hour and people were starting to fight the blood smell was intoxicating so i left and went hunting. As i wondered the fields looking for someone to eat but there did not seem to be anyone around i wondered and wondered until next thing i knew there was Brigands around me saying they wanted my money. Before i could draw my sword they started attacking me i cast a spell on one of them grabbed my sword and jumped back the second came at me, i slashed at his chest then back up and hit his leg he hit's the floor stuggeling to breath i turned around and the third ran off.

I cleaned my blade and sheathed it then walked to the brigand that was still frozen i could see the anger in his eyes i could almost see fire in them. I grinned at him turned around and stood over the one i cut down i looked at the one that was frozen smiled gloatingly and bit his companion i could hear the frozen bridged trying to scream at me once i had my fill i sealed the wounds and stood up. I then had a revelation i reached into my bag and got out the ritual bag that i was given from Lady Jade a few weeks ago. I placed the gems around him got the blood of the fallen bridged and smeered it on the gems and said 'I bind this alter to my will' three times and the gems started glowing white then it looked like the gems soaked up the blood and glowed a dark red. ' I wish to bind this soul to this alter' i then released the paralyze spell from him he tried immediately to attack me but was given a shock when he tried to move outside the circle. I then started to cast spells on him every time he was close to death i would revive him. I got bored by a point that when i was hitting him with a spell i then started to ask him 'where it was hurting inside or out?' after a few attempts of resisting me he started to cooperate and i learned what spell does most damage.

Once i was finished with my 'experiment' i let him die for the last time i would have done what i did with the chicken but i was not too sure about a human soul maybe i could get a talisman to help me. On pondering this for a few more hours i made my way home and went to bed for the night.

*dusts book off and begins to write*

After a very prolonged journey there was much i had forgot to do so a quick summary of the past few days:

First when i got back i found Fayte in my coffin, i did not wish to wake her and listen to her shout at me so i quietly closed the lid sneaked out the house and went to Trinsic. When i got there i could see people taking pack horses and full backpack's in to Trinsic. Once i made my way past the east gate i noticed that Trinsic was decorated, as i walked further i could hear cheerful people talking, the sound of birds singing , the smell of freshly baked bread .....It was enough to make you sick and i almost was when i turned around the corner, and seen the happy expressions on everyones face. I walked around and looked at the stalls there was bakers, artists, card telling, armory and someone was selling ale. I sat down and watched everyone just doing what they were doing but after a while i felt dizzy so i decided that i was to go home have a bottle of wine get some rest and snuggle up to Fayte.

Next day i slept all day, but yesterday i woke up and the built up hunger was almost uncontrollable so i quickly made my way to the bridged fort and picked off one of their scouting party's and took my fill of them . I then made my way to Marble Island to see if i could find any members of the family so i went to the town hall and there was Lady Jade with a man called Peirre .She welcomed me back introduced me to him we were talking and Fayte just popped up out of no where she give lady Jade something. Jade then asked us to show the man around so we took him to Trinsic, Swaggers Cove and then the Rose. After some hours of travel Fayte left us and we were left talking he seemed like a nice enough man not much of a talker but im sure a few weeks and that will change i was starting to feel tired so i give him some gold and wished him luck on his travels.

I awoke to day and again all was quiet so i took a nice long walk to Trinsic, but again, when i got to the gates they were unguarded and no one to be seen. So i made my way to Omadon's as i knew he was going to be spring cleaning. Always the clean one. I walked in and he was standing talking a very young girl between eleven and thirteen, fair hair and blue eyes she was tiding up and sorting Omadons things out. I asked what was going on he explained that the little girl had been wondering since the recent Magincia attack he also explained that she had some talents with magic and maybe she could be some use to the family. After she finished tidying up Omadon asked me to take her to Marble Island to get her some milk and cookies she came with me through a moongate.

I walked to the docks and a man was standing there he had a grayish beard and wore old and torn grayish armor. He asked me where Lady Jade was i tolled him that she was not around but i was a diplomat for the family so he could let me give Lady Jade a message, he then started to insult me and the family saying the family diplomat's are people with lots to say but no action. Dolly came up from behind me and the man caught a glimpse of her, he then started trying to get her to go with him promising her riches and fortunes. I reminded him that Lord Garod and Lady Jade would not look too kindly on someone trying to take a person in our care, especially on our own Island but he was unconcerned at his actions and then proceeded to mock the family again, hinting to Dolly about what we are. I mentioned he looked like a man who would kill his own family for a few coins, he turned and smiled at me trying to make out it was possible. I turned to dolly and said listen you could go with him a man who has 'killed his own family' for a few coins or you can come to a family who will love and protect you, bring out your true potentials.

Dolly said she wanted a family again. Before the man had finished throwing insults, Omadon turned up on the Island he just stood behind me and watched this lowly thug. The thug started giving her a few gold trying harder to get her to go with her but the love and protection of a family outweighs the cold feel of gold. Unconvinced, Dolly came with me to the tavern The man and Omadon were looking at each other when i came back. I looked at the thug looked back to Omadon then back to the thug and said 'ain't yer so scrummy '...'i could just eat you up!'
He looked a little annoyed. myself and Omadon went to the Tavern. I brought Dolly some milk and cookies, myself some wine and we three talked for a while before Lucius came. I explained what had happened with our unwanted visitor, and Lucius seemed rather annoyed and said we would deal with him if he came back. After my drink i slipped upstairs to rest in a guest room.

On Sunday i awoke full of good hopes about the nights family meeting i went and got things ready brought some food and ale as a surprise for the family. Omadon showed up long before the meeting he was explaining about a hole in the ground in Moonglow so we went to investigate. When we got there it was like a rock had fallen from a great distance Omadon tolled me to walk across it so i started slowly there was lightning coming around me i stopped and then tried to take cover before i could blink i was in a very dark room a man was sitting at a desk i tried to move but i was frozen to the ground. I was getting very angry so i started to talk but no words were coming out, the man then started to enplane that i was going no where and i would not be able to talk i then listened to what he had to say while she shuffled his deck of tarrot cards. He offered me a choice to help join the 'Shadow Lords' or to die so i decided what the hell. He give me a Glass dagger and showed me my card it was the card of the Star and sent me on my way. Omadon was waiting for me with a smile on his face he asked me of i had fun, i smiled back and showed him the glass dagger then he tolled me about the city of Cove and it being under attack so went to see the damage. There is nothing like a good masquer the smell of freshly split blood, the screams of innocents as they are slaughtered, the crying of brave men as they try and take there last few breaths of life. Oh the simplicity of it all.

When we got there Kas Valentine was there fighting the hoards i seen some other but one seemed very familiar his fighting style and his posture but i could not see his face. I helped fight the hell spawn back but had my eye on this one warrior in Vesperian uniform. Once we had fought them off
Omadon my self and Kas went to the main gate outside Cove we talked about our victory and i found out more information about what was going on. minutes later the man in Vesperian uniform came out of cove with out his helmet on it was Michael Hourmere. I could not believe it i remember Fayte tolled me a while ago that he had died i called him over he was surprised to see me as i was with him we talked a while i tolled him about the meeting tonight releasing the time i took my leave and headed to Marble Islands town hall to finish preparations. Once i finished i sat and went over what i was going to say. Hours went past and not a single member turned up for the meeting my faith in us is still not gone i will do the same every Sunday and even if i have to shackle every member to a seat.

*dusts off the book*

After a prolonged sleep i went to see my beloved Fayte, but once i got to her house it was abandoned. I ran in to see if her bed was there but there was nothing. At first i feared the worst but there had been no signs of a struggle and the house was not burned down so there was still some hope.. I looked around and found a rune. I recalled on the rune and i came to a deserted castle. I walked into the basement and there before me was my Fayte, dressed all in white with an apron on.

Fayte turned to the door to see me standing there. A huge smile came across her face 'so you found us, took you long enough'. I could smell rotting flesh and old blood but it was not the sweet smell of death it was the perfume smell of torture and suffering. Fayte took me into a room where she had a man lying on a table she then explained that he was a Covian, and she has had him for most of the time i was asleep. A rush of idea's came to me.. first was to hold him for ransom but he was very close to death and needed healing. Fayte got a curved needle and some thead to start to sew him up. I got a piece of forge iron heated it up and burned his wounds.

We then did a few stitches and burning, cast a healing spell on him and poured some ale down his neck. Once he was conscious i had a brilliant idea. We cut off his middle toe and send it Hoagie with a note. So i held his legs while Fayte took the saw and started hacking into his toe. After a few motions of the saw the toe had been severed and the man was screaming in pain begging us to stop. Fayte sewed the toe to a letter then i went to Cove, sneaked in and left the note and toe saying that if they wanted their man back it would cost 10 thousand gold 10 thousand reagents and 20 of there finest swords.

I went back once i seen a guardsman take it but once i got back to the castle the prisonor was telling Fayte of his undying love for her and how she should leave me for him. A few hours go by and it was almost time for the drop off. I knew that they would be waiting for me so i went to the Minoc mine alone. Hoagie and one other showed up i moved from the shadows they saw me and demanded to see the one they call Farfar i explained to them that i was hired by someone to pick up the goods and that they will release Farfar later, but Hoagie was having none of it. I told them Farfar would be killed, and left.

I stormed into the room where Farfar and Fayte were. Fayte could see i was annoyed. i shouted kill Farfar and spread his entrails over the Covian barracks, put his blood in their holy wine and send his head back on a silver platter. I went upstairs and sat with a bottle of wine and a smile on my face.. I'd guessed they would refuse so i am going to have to be more creative next time.
