Today seemed like any other but how i was to be proven wrong. I left my home and was wondering around Britain and i seen my brother......... He had followed my trail for years, i tried to avoid him but as soon as he seen me he followed me around until he confirmed it was me then he came and spoke to me. After a emotional reunion he explained that he knew what had happened to me but he still wanted to see his younger brother. After the years i had avoided this moment it did not go to the way i planed i thought with our farther he would have wanted to kill me but as meany times before life give me a slap in the face and he wanted to join me. I tried to explane to him what it is to be one of us but he knew better than i did i tolled him that i had to speak to Jade to seek permission. He took me to his house and i tolled him me or Fayte would take him to Jade when the time was right

I made my way to Marble Island and Jade was sitting at the table i asked for a personal request and by her face she seemed surprised that i had asked for a personal request i explained what had happed with my brother. She was surprised that i had a brother but the truth is that if he came looking for me and they might have killed him but he was willing and Jade had approved but she wanted to see what his loyalty was like.

Later i went to Trinsic and i was following a scruffy looking man and he ran around a corner then came back around and hit me with out cause and ran off so i ran after him and reported him to the guard. i became very annoyed because they only charged him 100 gold but if that was any of the family they would have hauled us off to the stocks so after i got my compensation i went to the pond undressed and put my foot in and the water was as cold as the sea but i jumped in to get that first shock of coldness out of the way i had left my clothes by the bank. After i bathed i got out and got ready i started to make my way out of Trinsic and a man came up and asked me if i had lost a book called 'notes' and i relised he had taken my book from when i was in the pond he had asked for 5 gold for its return i payed knowing that he had stole it but i decided to count my losses and retire for the night

I arrived home after what was hopefully my last long trip for a while. I breathed a sigh of relief, it was as if the weight of the world was lifted from my shoulders. I needed some company so i made my way to Trinsic, as i came to the gate i saw Lady Jade, she seemed pleased to see me i explained that i was back for now and she tolled me that my brother Omadon had been accepted into the family. I made my way to the magic shop in Trinsic bought my reagent's and then to the gate. lady jade had left. I sat in her place and a young lady came up to me and she seemed to know me and started to say if i did not give her money she would tell the guards that i was part of the family i refused and she started to taunt me, i threatened to rip her head off but i said it a little too loud and a guard was well less than happy.

An argument arose, and the young girl spoke about Lady Jade and i was told that i was not allowed in the city. I was angry that the guard took the word of this pigtailed little girl. Suddenly my brother came up behind me and asked what was going on. And then seconds later, Fayte appeared and suggested we go for a drink.

Once we got to the Rose i sat down. Omadon and Fayte looked around for some ale and as we were searching, Lord Ikus came in and asked what we were doing. I told him we wanted ale so he bought us all one form his own coin pocket. We had a nice, civil chat then he left us to our own doing and we talking but suddenly Fayte seen something in the flame on the torch. It was Flipper. She was in pain and needed help, locked in a cell in Trinsic. Fayte tried to talk to her. All she could hear was that the Duchery were going to put her to death so the three of us decided to break her free.

I ran home and got a metal shaft and a hammer and met Fayte and Omadon at Marble Island. Omadon was the first line of distraction and fayte assisted me. We made our way to the jail. There there wasn't anyone about so we jeaded straight for the cells. Before we could get through the first door a guard came. I hid under the table and Omadon was holding him at the door. I could not hear what they were saying but after a while he took the guard away. I started on the lock. I put the shaft in the gap and hit it hard a few times with a hammer. It burst open. We found her in the cell furthest away and i worked on that lock, but this one was a lot tougher i hammered it as hard as i could until i was sweating. Eventually it came loose, i opened the door expecting a hero's thanks but Flipper did not seem all there. A certain hunger in her eyes tells me she has been starved, and what she hungers for is blood. and there was only one way to get her to follow us.

I cut my arm and her eyes light up like the hottest flame and i ran out of the city. I could almost feel flippers breath down my neck as we ran towards the bridge, where i let Flipper drink from me and Fayte gated us back to Marble Island and took her to the tavern and she gave her something more nutritious. After the escape i decided i should to keep my head down. I tolled them to be careful and keep there heads down too.

After a great nights sleep - one of the best i have had in months - i awoke in my own room with my own clothes, jewelery and furniture. The feeling was warm, like a child returning to his mother's arms after not seeing her after a long time. I wondered around and looked through my things and noticed that the place was a mess as usual, i ran my fingers over the globe of Sosaria and a layer of dust collected on my fingers i brushed it from my hands and grabbed a cloth from a chest, then started to clean the globe and rearrange my belongings.

After an hour i was bored. I left everything the way it was and went for a bite to eat so i made my way to Trinsic i just got through the gate and i seen a young gypsy girl wondering by her self. The girl was early thirty's, wearing a long almost silky fancy dress, the sun glisened in her black hair her lips soft as the silkiest silk. She was picking up bits of twigs from the floor and she glanced up and seen me she give a slight smile and i could almost hear her blood gushing through her. I walked slowly over to her slightly smirking i asked her name and she give me the strangest answer.
'what is in a name?'

it struck me a little bit. I asked her if she needed help with carrying her sticks, better in my arms than hers i suppose. We walked more and more into the woods as i carried the sticks and she picked them up we walked and talked for a while and all she did was talk about all her 'problems' she went on and on for a while to a point where i lost my temper, dropped the sticks in my arms grabbed her by the hair. She looked at me in total shock. I pulled her close and bit her neck and i was so enraged about her not shutting up i bit into her windpipe hard and it snapped like a peace of straw under a horses hoof. I drained her until long after she had taken her last breath.

I took the body to the river checked her pockets and all i found was a few very small rocks and over two hundred gold coins. I pushed her into the river as her lifeless body went out to the middle of the river i grabbed the biggest rock i could pick up and threw it on her corpse, after i had cleaned up by the river bank i made my way to marble island.

Whin i arrived, i smelled the aroma of my beloved Fayte so i hid and tried to sneak up on her. I went from building to building looking for her i was up by the docks when i seen her with a man i watched her for a few moments and she did not seem to be hunting him she seemed....nice. So i followed them and realised she was giving him a tour, they made their way to the town hall. Lady Jade was sitting there and we sat down and discussed the background behind this man. we sat for two and a half hours talking after we went to the Tavern had a few drinks and Lady Jade give us all the Family's Special Wine. It is the best wine in all of Sosaria. Best wine i have ever tasted in my life. I quietly spoke with Jade about the actions of last night she seemed pleased and she had heard the basics, i filled her in with the rest. Me and Fayte explained that Omadon did his part well and we all got away without any casualty's so i decided to leave when the going was good and went back to my partly clean house.

Been a busy day. yesterday, i became the owner of a tower in Felucca. Today i moved everything to my new tower. I made time to get things done in the family. I went to Marble Island, it seemed like no one was there until i came to the Town Hall and i could sense that someone was inside. i made my way up the steps and through the door and there stood Flipper. She seemed to look very weak and pale she told me to sit and she started to explain that Gwen had left the guild also about her saying that she was going to betray Lady Jade and work for the Duchery. She then continued to say that she wanted to help root out impurity's to those who wish to betray the house and call it's members 'The black Hand'. It sounded like a very good idea because i had been worried about Gwen for a while and to have a position where we could do something about these situations could be helpful to the Family. Flipper got up from her chair and tolled me to stand and raise my right hand. She then made me swear:

I Vad....
Here swear to be loyal to the House...
To root out impurity's...
And to keep the black Hand secret...

But she then came to a part that was most unsettling she wanted me to keep it secret from Lady Jade and i told her that i could not do that. she explained that she had not told Lady Jade yet so i explained that if Lady Jade asked me i would tell her but i would not go up and directly tell her.
Later I attended the family meeting. I made my way to the meeting hall in Naeloth and sat down and the meeting continued. Jade explained that with Gwen gone we needed a new Blade and Archmage. The conversation continued to the Duchery and Fargo had his say about him being arrested for trumped up charges and it seemed to cause tension within the Family.

Some wanted to go to war by getting other factions to attack Trinsic at the same time. Then tensions sparked even more between Muldoon and Flipper to a point that Muldoon offered Flipper outside but Lady Jade was quick to put a stop to it and went to talk with Muldoon. The rest of us sat there asking what was happening with this family. We got a stiff wind blew telling us to go to Marble Island. We are drawn to the tavern. We went to the Arena and Jade was standing in the middle of the Arena. This was the fight for position of Blade. Flipper Muldoon and Casal entered Fayte rushed out and quickly returned with my brother, Omadon. He stepped into the arena but Lady Jade said his armor was not good enough, so i offered mine to him.

He got into position and jade cast a flame wall and told all fighters when it extinguishes the fight begins. The flame vanished and all the fighters ran towards each other like mad, blood lusting orcs! Steel hit steel, i cheered as Omadon killed Casal then Flipper and then it was just Muldoon and Omadon, Omadon lunged for him hitting him Muldoon then started to run away and Omadon knocked him out with the final blow and to my complete shock my own brother won! he was congratulated from all the family but Muldoon was very unhappy and started threating Omadon. He ran upto Omadon and punched him and ran out the arena so i conjured a fireball and ran to him shouting. I had no weapons or armour on, so he started to attack me. I just stood there and let him and the rest of the family were not impressed with his lack of self control.

I came back to conciousness and went to congratulate Omadon he was now Blade Of Tremere. I asked if anyone wanted to drink, Omadon, Fayte and Casal were up for it. We had to go to the hospital to get some armor for Omadon first. As we got there Lord Fargo and Lady Jade were talking they seen us and took Omadon and congratulated him properly explained his new position and how he would be turned with Tremere Bloodline my eyes widened at that. Lady Jade came to me and asked if i had any questions. I tolled her i thought that i would be turning him as he's my brother and he's part of my bloodline from birth,but she tolled me that he was going to be part of Tremere's bloodline because he is now the Blade of Tremere. And i was to take Zielti under my wing. I agreed and silenced my self.

Lord Fargo asked us to go to his house. When we got there he took us to his meeting hall we had a small discussion and invited us to use his house any time we needed.

After this long and very interesting day i thought it be best i went home and got some rest as my self and Flipper have much to talk about tomorrow.

I have not been able to write in my journal because with me moving to Felucca i had misplaced it but here is my entry for Thursday I left for marble island late today but when i got there i looked for flipper to see about rules for the hand When i got there i went to the town hall as it seems flipper can not leave the island yet under jades ruling. I went up stairs and went to the room with the secret door used my key the door opened very quietly not what i was expecting from a moving wall, i made my way down stairs as i went down just a few steps i herd voices ones i knew well i went down and Fayte and Flipper where talking. Flipper was telling Fayte about how she's worried about if Gwen comes back she will not be able to fight her at full strength without her flame . i sat down next to Fayte and said we needed to make some rules for the Black Hand. After long hours of discussion we noticed it was very late and i went back home.

I was enjoying a lovely walk around New Haven. It was a sunny day, the birds were singing, the warm, still breeze upon my face but as i was walking by the sea i sensed something was wrong. It was screaming out to me like a banshee in my head. I made my way home ...all seemed fine so i went to my brothers house and again everything was quiet so i went to Fayte's and i heard the clanging of steel and shouting. I ran up the stairs and seen my brother and someone fighting in Faytes house. The strange man stopped, looked at me and ran past me almost knocking me over. Omadon started to chase him so i give chase as well.

After a run about he managed to escape us. It's been a long time since someone has gotten away from me. We made our way back to Fayte's where she was laying on the floor she seemed to be knocked out. We woke her and found out that she'd brought him here to feed from him but found out that he was some kind of vampire, but not only that, he preferred to drink vampire blood. I think Lady Jade would like to hear about a lone Vampire that only feeds from other Vampires. After that Fayte went to bed to rest up, so i decided to join her and wished my brother good night.

i was busy rummaging through my things when i heard a tapping on the window. I looked over and it was a pigeon, i opened the window and got the note from its leg. it was from Fayte asking me to come to marble island as soon as possible so i made my way there. When i got there i kept to the dark, and made my way to the town hall but i seen Fayte, Flipper and two others standing outside. I grabbed my sword and walked behind them. I asked what was going on but it seemed to make the situation worse. There was a man and a woman. The man seemed to have an oversized ego and was showing off by throwing up his dagger and catching it again this made flipper angry. I grabbed my sword as flipper summoned her fire elemental. A fight broke out, resulting in flipper being knocked out and the woman cowered off alone.

We took Flipper to the hospital and sat her down. Fayte walked outside and there was the man who we just fought.. He seemed to be very interested in Fayte. I learned from him that a Vampire that i had never herd of had bit Fayte, and that he wanted more of her blood. I was less than amused that she had never told me about this. This happened two nights ago.. It's not as though she has not had the time...

I awoke today with a strong hunger. I realised that i had not eaten in a good few days now so i decided to go looking for a morsel to nibble on. I walked to the brigand's fort but there was no body around and it looked like there has not been for a while so i made my way to Trinsic instead but when i was coming to the Rose i seen Van the baron of Vesper and i remembered that Lady Jade was wanting to arrange a meeting with him. I asked him for a private word on behalf of the House of Tremere he agreed and made our way to Swaggers Inn.

When we arrived at Swaggers Van took me to the basement away from eavesdroppers i tolled him that Lady Jade wanted to meet with him at Marble Island. He agreed to come and asked me if he could bring two advisers i agreed to his terms and made the meeting for next sunday at six
then he had to rush off.

I made my way to Marble Island, walked to the tavern and i was just outside when i felt Lady Jade behind me. I turned smiled and told her that i had good news for her. she seemed pleased we went to the tavern and sat down i preceded to tell her about i had found Van and arranged the meeting she looked very pleased but she asked me to find out who Van's advisers are going to be and to get another diplomat to find out. I bid her farewell and went home hungry again but that is the price i pay for duties for the family tomorrow i will feast.

when i awoke i headed to the Brigand fort, where i found a few Brigands outside in a small group so i started throwing rocks at them and made them chase me into the woods away from any reinforcements. There was a fight, two of them were Drows i believe they were sisters and two men. One was slim and the other was of a bigger build the sisters drew their weapons and attacked me. The scuffle went on for a while and i struck both of the Drows down. The bigger man came behind me and grabbed me. I struggled to grab my skinning knife from my boot and stabbed him in the leg. He released me then the slim man attacked with magic that caught me by surprise. I paralyzed him with my own magic, walked over to him and bit his neck. As the spell wore off his body became limp and slumped to the floor. I then turned to the Drows that were laying on the floor blood covering them and noticed one of them was still alive, struggling to breathe. I started to walk towards her she seemed to mumble something but i was unable to hear it. I drank from her sealed the marks and when i was finished i felt like a new born vampire again.

i made my way to Trinsic and it seemed the city was decorated for something. I seen a poster and read that it was Trinisic market today. I walked down to the tavern and there were a lot of people running around, trying to get stalls set up there was already people there buying from the stalls. I had a quick look around and went off to do some more hunting. I came back later on and there was an arena set up i thought there was a fight happening but it was poems and songs. People got up and gave their performance. Fayte and Jaston turned up to watch the festivities, it seemed that someone had not turned up so i said i would do a performance. I got up and said that it was a poem about a tortured soul...

After i was finished i said that it was dedicated to Fayte. There was other great pieces and some very funny ones too. The night went on and at the end they got us all to stand up and they judged us. I, with a Covian, came third and did not receive a prize but i was just happy i came third. I took a bow and went to walk home with Fayte. She went home and i walked back and on my way a pale young woman ran up behind me and tolled me to give her my money i was just about to grab my sword when Fayte returned. She had needed reagents. She walked up to us and said 'Damn vad.. your standards have dropped' like i would lay my lips on a 'rat'!

The pale one said i was lucky this time and she vanished. Fayte asked if i could make it ten feet without getting into trouble and made her way to Trinsic and i continued my journey back home.

Since my last entry i have been in rest. I was awaken by Fayte, she told me that there was going to be a ritual lecture by Lady Jade, and because i have been asleep i was starving and would not have time to eat. By the time i had gotten ready and made my way to Marble Island the lecture was in full swing so i just sat down quietly and tried to catch up. There were members of the family and a few people that i had not seen before.

During the lecture Lady Jade wanted us to go outside to give us a demonstration, she then gave me and some of the guests a bag with five gems, a golden dagger and some instructions. After the presentaion we went to the Tavern and gave some refreshments to our guests. Once Lady Jade left us i felt a breeze against my cheek then Jades voice telling us not to feed from our guests. They were under our protection. Omadon later left to go do a quest for the family later Fayte left and not long after that our guests left for the main lands.

I was reading the book and decided to try my hand at a ritual i went to Jhelom farms and stole a chicken took it back to where i live, put it in a box and started the ritual. I first aranged the five gems in a circle, then using the golden dagger i cut into my flesh and filled a bowl with my blood. I smeered all of the gems with my blood and repeated 'I bind this alter to my will' three times and the gems started glowing white then it looked like the gems soaked up the blood and glowed a dark red. I grabed the box with the chicken and placed it in the center opened the box and opened the lid i chanted 'I take this animal and release it's soul' i then killed the chicken layed it down and stood back. The gems glowed brighter and it seemed like a dome was formed and for a second i thought the chicken had been brought back to life but it's soul was standing there as if nothing had happened.

I then continued ' I take this Soul and invoke it into my self' its soul then was consumed by mine. I was knocked back and fell to my knees. I pulled my self together and i relised that my hunger had gone and i had seemed like i had ate ten people. I then went to the brigand fort and as soon as i arived i was attacked my two of them. I conjured a fireball and threw it at one of the men but as it got half way between myself and them, the fire ball split into two and hit both men and sent them hurtling backwards. I looked at my hand and was anstonished. I walked to the men i just hit to see the damage and both men had most of their hair burnt off. I concluded that this would keep me going for another deep sleep and next time i awake i will try this again, and possibly some new rituals next time.

When i awoke today i had no hunger and i was still very refreshed so i decided to go to despise to practice some sword techniques. After a while of practicing i made my way to Trinsic i bumped into a young woman and she tolled me that everyone was at Moonglow i thanked her and started to make my way there but there were a lot of people there. I waited for an hour and people were starting to fight the blood smell was intoxicating so i left and went hunting. As i wondered the fields looking for someone to eat but there did not seem to be anyone around i wondered and wondered until next thing i knew there was Brigands around me saying they wanted my money. Before i could draw my sword they started attacking me i cast a spell on one of them grabbed my sword and jumped back the second came at me, i slashed at his chest then back up and hit his leg he hit's the floor stuggeling to breath i turned around and the third ran off.

I cleaned my blade and sheathed it then walked to the brigand that was still frozen i could see the anger in his eyes i could almost see fire in them. I grinned at him turned around and stood over the one i cut down i looked at the one that was frozen smiled gloatingly and bit his companion i could hear the frozen bridged trying to scream at me once i had my fill i sealed the wounds and stood up. I then had a revelation i reached into my bag and got out the ritual bag that i was given from Lady Jade a few weeks ago. I placed the gems around him got the blood of the fallen bridged and smeered it on the gems and said 'I bind this alter to my will' three times and the gems started glowing white then it looked like the gems soaked up the blood and glowed a dark red. ' I wish to bind this soul to this alter' i then released the paralyze spell from him he tried immediately to attack me but was given a shock when he tried to move outside the circle. I then started to cast spells on him every time he was close to death i would revive him. I got bored by a point that when i was hitting him with a spell i then started to ask him 'where it was hurting inside or out?' after a few attempts of resisting me he started to cooperate and i learned what spell does most damage.

Once i was finished with my 'experiment' i let him die for the last time i would have done what i did with the chicken but i was not too sure about a human soul maybe i could get a talisman to help me. On pondering this for a few more hours i made my way home and went to bed for the night.

*dusts book off and begins to write*

After a very prolonged journey there was much i had forgot to do so a quick summary of the past few days:

First when i got back i found Fayte in my coffin, i did not wish to wake her and listen to her shout at me so i quietly closed the lid sneaked out the house and went to Trinsic. When i got there i could see people taking pack horses and full backpack's in to Trinsic. Once i made my way past the east gate i noticed that Trinsic was decorated, as i walked further i could hear cheerful people talking, the sound of birds singing , the smell of freshly baked bread .....It was enough to make you sick and i almost was when i turned around the corner, and seen the happy expressions on everyones face. I walked around and looked at the stalls there was bakers, artists, card telling, armory and someone was selling ale. I sat down and watched everyone just doing what they were doing but after a while i felt dizzy so i decided that i was to go home have a bottle of wine get some rest and snuggle up to Fayte.

Next day i slept all day, but yesterday i woke up and the built up hunger was almost uncontrollable so i quickly made my way to the bridged fort and picked off one of their scouting party's and took my fill of them . I then made my way to Marble Island to see if i could find any members of the family so i went to the town hall and there was Lady Jade with a man called Peirre .She welcomed me back introduced me to him we were talking and Fayte just popped up out of no where she give lady Jade something. Jade then asked us to show the man around so we took him to Trinsic, Swaggers Cove and then the Rose. After some hours of travel Fayte left us and we were left talking he seemed like a nice enough man not much of a talker but im sure a few weeks and that will change i was starting to feel tired so i give him some gold and wished him luck on his travels.
