I went to the Swaggers inn and as i was about to walk in i seen a bear so i grabbed the hilt of my katana and all of a sudden, it opened it's mouth and spoke, i thought to my self the smells of Vesper were going to my head. So i walked inside and there was about half a dozen men sitting at the bar with the bear that spoke to me, I sat down at my normal seat and started reading my spellbook. It was so quiet you could hear the heartbeats of the men. So i decided to make my own entertainment and got up and asked if the bear could dance but the bear seem to refuse.

Fayte came and joined me but with all the people in the bar there seem to be no service at all then the Vesperians started getting bored and started saying they were going to burn cove, as they left the Swaggers, Fayte and i decided to watch the slaughter but as we left they were in formation right outside the exit so we couldn't get through. Fayte got one of them to move and he said 'Sorry lady's' and i got offended and replied 'Watch your mouth footman' and a few more exchange of words and me and Fayte decided to warn Cove.

We arrived at Cove and we walked around till we found someone, We came to a small house and i went in but it seems they had been watching us, a scout asked me to leave the building so i walked out and warned him about the attack from Vesper then another scout popped out from the shadows, i asked if he had heard and he replied he had but did not seem to want to rush off. So me and Fayte decided to have a look around but as soon as we got to the church another one of their scouts popped out and told us she had been watching us for a while and asked us not to go in the church so we questioned why and then three more turned up so we decided to leave.

By this time Fayte had a taste for churches and she persuaded me to go to Maginicia to look at their church. The journey from the moongate to the city was terrible; when we eventually got to the city it seemed dead so we walked towards the docks for a !!!!! or two but all of a sudden, the smell of the Maginician army's blood came from the docks. Both me and Fayte got drawn to it and there was about eleven soldiers getting a little worried. When they asked what we were doing there, quickly i replied that we had heard the fighting and we came to lend a hand. Thanking us they offered for us to watch. So we watched what religious people do best.....kill each other. So we went towards the church and they sent a priest to watch us i tried talking to him but he refused to say anything back so i started toying with him, saying i was going to cut his tongue out, Still nothing so i asked if he would scream if i cut his fingers off, and at that, one of Maginicia's scouts came and tolled us to leave or we would go to prison so we laughed and left . For now.

Yesterday i heard that there was a price on my head from my exploits, 2350 gold 20 minutes jail and 20 minutes cleaning the streets under guard. Pitiful i thought.. maybe its my noble vampiric pride talking but i did not like the idea of looking over my shoulder, so i went to Maginca to use my charm and wit to make them remove this bounty.

When i got there it was empty apart from one monk making scrolls and potions in the church at first then she walked to the bank so i followed her, at the bank i came up behind her and wrapped my arm around her neck and asked her how to make this bounty go away as she struggled and gasping for air she muttered that she could not do anything about it, so i released her and as i walked away she said maybe i should pay the fine and pay my dept holding my self from laughing i left.

Later jade asked us to meet at her house to take someone back to a city, so i got my 'going out outfit' with Lord Fargo and Muldoon and we went to a remote location and as we stood there for about 10 minutes and a moongate appeared and 3 orcs and a half naked prisoner came through we attacked the orcs and helped the man, he thanked us and asked if he could take him to Maginca. So Lord Fargo helped him up and i cast a moongate and we went through. On the other side i helped the man walk through the city, we found the Maginca army at the bank they recognized the man and asked us what happened we explaned that it was orcs. They took the man and there leader thanked us and we went on our way.

We went back to jades and had a meeting about the facilities on marble island and from was said it seems we might be getting a bit more coin in our pockets and Fayte might have a full time job soon so that can keep her busy and out of trouble.

Yesterday was an interesting one to say the least, i started my day with a trip to the Trinsic Rose and i seen a very young elf trying to reach up for a box on the top shelf and as i was about to ask her what she was doing another young elf called Zefar came running down the stairs. He looked very scared he was saying a drow had kidnapped him and locked him up. Seconds later some of the Dutchery's men came and attended to the young elf, i sat down and listened to what happened and not too long into it Gwen turned up, she sat down and waited for a little bit and then she started shouting for service and trying to get her drinks for free because she had to wait.

Gwen invited me to join her and then Fayte came in and joined the both of us. We had a few drinks and Gwen invited me to have a game of some deadly darts game - who ever gets the lowest score the winner hits him and the first to die loses. Stupidly, i accepted. We both drew the first 2 rounds but then my aim messed up and i missed and Gwen scored 10. I braced for the hit and as she did i could feel poison running through my vain's and as i grew weaker i said she had not mentioned anything about poison.

Later Gwen decided to go and annoy the Trinsic guards so i thought it would a a chuckle to watch her but that was a mistake, we came to a lonley man walking towards the moongate and Gwen decided to stop him and play around with him before biting him, but her toying went on for too long and the Trinsic guards turned up and they give some excuse that the man we have been talking to, the Duke wanted him. Gwen was a little more than annoyed so we walked to Trinsic and the man was telling everyone that we was vampires. With a little charm, i said that vampires was a myth and that he was talking crazy and they seemed to believe me, it also seemed that word had travelled fast as young ebony was in town and helped me convince them vampires are not real.

Thanks to Ebony the guards also thought that the man was making things up so i went and got my self some reagents from the magic shop and went to go back through the moongate, as i walked passed the man who myself and Gwen were toying with i turned and smiled at him and him and someone else chased me, so i ran and hid as they went back i followed them to see what they wanted. The man who chased me even forgot what he wanted to question me about so i mentioned that there must be something in the water in Trinsic, told them to enjoy their nightshade and went home.

Yesterday started off very quiet then i seen Gwen out side Trinsic and she had a new outfit on she seemed very irritated and looked bloodlusted she went into town and the guards started asking her where her pass was and she mentioned that she did not have it, they asked her to leave until she had and Gwen was less than happy she started refusing to leave and walked back into the city. The guards reinforcements arrived and surrounded Gwen i watched hand on hilt and spells at the ready, they escorted Gwen outside and Lady Jade was standing there. Gwen provoked what i found out later as the mayor of Trinsic by putting her kriss to his throat. Unphased by her actions he just stood there and asked if she was threating him and six guards lined up bows ready to fire at Gwen. The mayor moved out the way and the guards fired at Gwen and she charged at the guards and i started healing her.

The fight spilled out into the streets of Trinsic and Gwen was doing pretty well for her self and as i continued healing her Iljian turned his attention to me so i ran just enjoying the chase. I went to the gate and just as i was about to hit free soil the other guards were waiting for me and they killed me. Reviving me they placed me under arrest but Lady Jade was not happy that they were going to convict me under 'their laws' i tried to shrug off the female elf that grabbed my arm, the guards got their way and took me for questioning they sat me down and took my weapons and spellbook. I mentioned if they redecorated they would attract a higher class of criminal but it seems that the Duchery have no sense of humour.

The interrogation began with do i plea guilty or not guilty .......... so i asked what i was pleading to? They could have been trying to get me to admit to a murder or kidnapping or anything they wanted, so she asked would a guard like to explain it in baby talk, to which i replied yes i would like to talk to the most intelligent guard they had. She went on about what i had done in aiding a criminal who disturbed the peace and again she asked if i was guilty or not, i replayed 'if i have wronged by aiding my kin then i'm as guilty as sin', but the elf woman was not happy with that she started mentioning something about if i wanted candy but i tolled her my mother said don't take candy from strangers and they don't get much stranger then her, which she replied yes she was strange she lived in a gingerbread house and i thought that smell coming from her was from the rust on her chastity belt. So again she asked if i was guilty or not and i was getting very bored by this point and i said 'yes elf scum', she seemed to be pleased but you could almost hear her blood boil, she asked one of there guards if he could set up the stocks and ready the cabbages and tomatoes now things were warming up.

Lady Jade and Lord Fargo must have sensed what was going to happen and as i taunted them as they were taking me out, their mayor came and told the guards to release me and hand me back to Jade, i turned around and remarked how close she was and Lord Fargo led me off to the log out side of the city's wall's. Jade came and took me to Marble Island and asked me what happened and i revealed to her that i was only helping kin. Later Gwen came and showed total disrespect to Jade, Fargo and towards my own Children. After a long argument between them Gwen was made an outcast to Tremere, Jade tolled us she wanted to be left alone and as myself and Lord Fargo left he explained to me that from what he had heard that my intentions were in the best interests of the house. I asked him if i could return to Trinsic and retrieve my weapon and spellbook.

We returned to Trinsic and Lady Jade was there and asked me what i was doing i explained that they still had my things and she asked me to be nice so we went in and the Lord of Trinsic give me my spellbook and katana but my tongue slipped and i said thank you, boy, and Lady Jade striked me and i got a 4 day ban from Trinsic and i have tasks to do for the four days...... lucky me.. but it was worth it to call him boy.

It was a very quiet day with my ban on Trinsic... again. I went and got the scales that jade had asked me for and i went on the boat that Lady Jade gave me and sailed into the ocean, i remember now why i hate it... the swaying of the ocean and the shouting of orders to the Tillman. Eventually i caught a glimpse of a sea serpent. The Tillman pointed the boat in it's direction but it started to swim away, i quickly got my spellbook out and cast a spell to keep it where it was. The anger in its eyes looked as if it could burn me alive and the roar of it almost knocked me to the ground. As i pulled my self up i realized taking this thing on alone was going to be a little more difficult than i thought.

I remembered a spell that i have not used in many moons i grabbed some bloodmoss, mandrake root, spiders silk and sulfurous ash held them in my hand and said the words 'Kal Vas Xen Corp' . As the reagents floated just above my hand they spun in a ball of glowing dark energy that i threw on the floor and a deamon appeared. The sea serpent charged with rage came straight at me, it's body crashed into the boat and it tried to bite me but i dodged out of the way, pulled my katana out and swiped at the back of its neck, the deamon threw a fire ball then a lightning bolt and made it explode from the inside and. I was very impressed to say the least. I then thanked it and sent it back to the hells in which it came from, the sea serpent was floating dead in the water i reached down grabbed my katana and started hacking away at it. After i got the scales i went home and settled down with a nice glass of wine.

Yesterday was an interesting one i started off in the Swaggers i was reading my spellbook and a young woman by the name of Jackson was looking over my shoulder, but i kept nodding off when i awoke she started telling me about the baths that are reopening in Bucc's Den, she was asking if i could come and check it out on it's opening day so i accepted and said i could bring a few friends. After talking to Jackson for a bit i went to Trinsic but the town was deserted so i decided i was going to go to the mage shop and bought my self some reagents. On the way back out i seen Jackson again and we got talking and i was just about to take her off in to the woods and bite her but i remembered about the message i got about Magnicia's attack on Skara, so i decided i would see if i could get rid of my bounty, i said i had to go and for some reason she thought i was a poet or a scribe.......i must look intelligent.

As i arrived the moongate was as as dangerous as ever.. mongbats, giant snakes and other wild life as i drew my sword a snake glared at me and started slithering towards me with one swipe of my sword i removed its head, i slowly backed off and started to run towards town when i got there i noticed i had ran to the religious quarter. As i walked to the mage shop i seen a lone guard and i walked up to her and she greeted me with a warm smile and asked me what i was doing there, i explained that i was there to buy from the mage shop and asked how would one remove a bounty which she replied that she would beat them in the street. She started to unravel a scroll and i backed off and say good bye she shouted halt so i ran and hid.

I got to the mage shop and bought the reagents i needed and as i was just about to make my self invisible the guard found me and told me to stop so i waved at her and threw the ball of clear energy on my self i went invisible, and it was luck that there was someone at the mage shop that made a moongate
and i walked through.. she followed me but still hidden she left for Maginca. Happy with my self i got too cocky and went back to watch them runaround but they found me. A fight broke out and she killed me but as they were about to take me into custody she was called off to help in an attack........superb timing if i do say so.

Later after i licked my wounds i went to Trinsic and an adult Drow was crying in the corner like a small child, what a sight but as i was enjoying the crying of a adult Drow.. a female elf with hood up and mask on came and something about her smelled familiar. As she tried to get into Trinsic she was stopped by the guards and asked to take down her hood as she refused she was asked to leave but my curiosity got the better of me and i sneaked off to watch her, in the woods she took off her mask and hood and i came out of the shadows and said she was the elf i almost killed in Magincia but said she would have to deal with me and drew her dagger we ended up in a fight but luck was not on my side so i ran down to the city and was planning on the guards helping but they just stood there and watched. After i picked my self up a second time i was yelling at the guards about their incompetence and i mentioned she was from magnicia and some human woman said oh from Magincia and as i got closer to her i could smell the fresh burned reagents and that disgusting elf stench, she had cast a spell to make her look human i was not fooled easily like the guards but i left and cut my losses for the day.

Later i met Fayte at the rose we had a few drinks and she decided to go to the tavern in Trinsic. We went there to see if we could find someone to have a drink with. Dead as usual we decided to go and toy with the guards a bit more but on our way we came to the bridge and a troll was standing on it asking us to give him our food packs. Fayte laughed because she and i was killed a week ago outside Trinsic on a bridge by an orc so me and Fayte talked between our selfs not phased by the troll's words and it scrambled under the bridge as if it was scared of us. We tolled the authority's but they seemed skeptical so we pleaded to them and as he was about to move us off for being insane, the troll came back from under the bridge the guards chased it to the main gate where he cornered it and i pulled my katana out. The guard charged at the troll but the troll grabbed him in mid air and threw him against the wall so i jumped to stab it in the back but the troll moved and i slamed into the wall, a member of the Britanian guards came to help us chase it out of the city. Fayte helped me up and took me home, laid me down and the rest was a blurr.

I awoke yesterday with a hunger that was really irritating, like a rabbit trying to dig its way out of the ground. I did not think much of it at first so i went to Trinsic crossed the Arrow bridge and i seen that troll that myself and Fayte ran into, but it disappeared under the bridge, so i wondered around for a little bit and i seen a young girl was walking alone and an over powering urge to rip her to pieces right there but as i got closer to her i wanted to play, so i tolled her that there was a troll about and offered her help she mentioned that she was on her way to the Rose.So we walked to the Rose i asked her if she was meeting anyone but she said she was not. As we got close i turned to her and explained that a young lady should not be walking alone and that over powering urge to bite her came again.. but this time i could not fight it. I grabbed her pulling her body towards mine i yanked her hair back and bit hard on her neck once i had had my fill i pushed her to the floor. I heard someone coming so i ran and hid.

Later i seen a young drow, rather slender, early twenty's, pony tail and not very 'Drowish'. I tolled her that there was a troll around and i offered her an 'escort' and she accepted so as we walked away from the guards patrol and got close to the moongate i turned and grabbed her but this young drow was a little stronger than the human girl and i pulled her in to me i yanked her hair but then something unexpected happened, she struck me and ran off so i went to town in disguise and played ignorant.

For some reason i was drawn to Skara, and for some reason i could feel something taking me over. Very animal- like it was primal, fierce, blood lusted. As i made my way to the healers.. with their strong scent of blood in the air.. i also caught a more familiar scent of partly rusted metal from old sweat, the cold metal of blades and shields, the smell of old worn leather. My heart started racing, adrenaline pumping , sweat dripping from my head and next thing i knew i was running around town and by a pure mistake i ran into Lord Fargo i stopped in my tracks and just by the sight of him part of the animal feeling felt like it drop from my head to my stomach like a bag of ingots.. but it was not completely gone. I ran away through buildings, around people, jumping over animals. I eventually lost him and as i caught my breath Ripper and Orlando came out of nowhere so i sprung back into running. after ten minutes i lost them and the chase went on like this for a while, i seen Fayte and i wanted to attack her. I know she was trying to calm me down but i was worried that i would harm her so i ran from her. As i was tiring, all three of the group came at me from different directions. As i was being backed up against the wall i surrendered but i could not stop and i attacked Lord Fargo and the rest of his group attacked me and knocked me out.

As i came around Lord Fargo looked less than amused he got the other two to help me up and they took me back to marble island, as i walked in i could feel a cold breeze on my face i tuned and looked at jade who was sitting there i could feel the anger pouring from her towards me and right then i knew i was in deep horse dung. She had me explain but my excuse was not to the family's liking and Jade explained that because of my actions she would receive punishment from Garod so with that i would be bonded to Jade. She had me kneel down and cut her arm and i opened my mouth and the blood dripped in. I was expecting warm blood but as it dripped slowly in to my stomach it was cold like a icicle being forced down my throat. I fell back down to my knees i held my stomach and as it hit, it felt like a swirling ball of ice spinning in very strong winds and by the time i pulled my self to my feet i felt normal, whole again, but Lady Jade verbally slapped me back into reality by explaining to me that i would have to feed from her 4 more times and tolled me to leave and not to return to Trinsic for a while.

Once i left i went to the swaggers i walked in sat down scanned the room and seen Chloe with some people she seen me and froze up and just then karma caught me up and my disguise failed me and she knew what i had done and who i really was so i opened my money pouch and turned to the barmaid ordered a drink and i realised i did not have any coins so i asked her if she would put the bottle on ice for me i left but as i got out side another young lady came out and started threating me telling me to stay away from Chloe i tolled her to go play tag and i made my way to get some coins. I went back and i caused an uproar just by sitting down and reading my spellbook some tried to make small talk and some wanted to fight me but i was not in the mood any more so i let them go about there drunken rants and after about an hour of it i'd had enough and left for the night.

note to self stop playing with your food

As i awoke today i thought that with yet another ban on Trinsic it would be a little boring. I walked outside and i took one step out and a black raven, blue high lights shining brightly from the sun appeared, it flew down to my feet and squawked at me and i noticed there was a note tied with a small red ribbon around its foot. I knelt down and it hopped on to my hand, it was strange - most animals do not come near 'us'. I untied the ribbon and unraveled the note and just as i completely removed it, the raven flew away. It was from Jade and she wanted me to meet her at Marble Island as soon as i awoke so i made haste to there.

When i arrived she was sitting waiting, as if she knew i was going to turn up at that moment. She asked me to kneel as it was time for another feeding from her. I could hear my stomach groaning from what had happened yesterday she slit her wrist a little and let the blood drip into my mouth but this time it was not as cold as it was last time. I stood back up and Jade said she had a present for me and asked if i would hold out my wrist so i did and before i knew it she had slapped a Bracelet of Binding inscribed 'Vad's Leash' on me. Jade explained that the bracelet was cursed and will not be removed until my punishment is over. my only conclusion is that this Bracelet of Binding has been enchanted to suppress my 'urges' and to keep track of me. I groaned as she was explaining my fate but she frowned and started to explain that feeding from her is a curse and a gift. Her blood will give me wisdom and knowledge, but unless i learned to control them it could destroy me.

I went to Magincia to see about a carnival i had heard of. Coincidently, the young girl who i bit was there, and once again i caused an uproar with a member of the Duchery. Just as she starting getting heated i reminded her that she does not hold any authority in the city of Magincia. And she quickly took the girl away and i enjoyed the rest of the people that wanted to be apart of the carnival.

Later i went to Swaggers and there was a barmaid and it was her birthday. In a unfathomable display of generosity i bought myself and the lady a drink and i gave her some gold for her birthday. She handed me the wine i bit the cork off and she asked to remove hers as well so i bit the top and and yanked it off in one clean cut motion handed her the bottle and we toasted to her birthday. Later a member of the militia walked in with a bear. i jumped from my chair and was about to start attacking it when they informed me that it was their 'bouncer'. I was not convinced but i let it lay and got back to my drink . After a while i heard a thunder in the distance and i felt Garod. The thought that he knew about yesterday crept painfully into my mind. I ran from the Swaggers and hid in the deepest darkest place Sosaria had to offer. I disguised myself as a butcher, and returned to the Swaggars. On my way though i seen a man fishing and i asked if he had caught anything. He said that he had. I explained that i was a cook and i was cooking for a party and i was off to get some wine and he then offered me hundreds of raw fish steaks. Stupidly, and not wanting to blow my cover i took them in gratitude. He laughingly told me that cooking them with a bit of nightshade on gives them a nice 'zing'. When i returned to Swaggars there was one of the militia, tying up a swamp dragon so i asked if i could take it but i accidentally said for swamp dragon steaks and he ran off and refused to sell me it. Having had enough fun for the night, i returned home.

I awoke to a strange dream... I was in the mage school sitting next to Fayte like i was at school as a boy.. me and fayte were messing around and Lady Jade was trying to teach us magic and she got very upset with me and drove a wooden stake through my shoulder and reminded me to behave. So after i woke up i got dressed and i walked outside to another day. I left the house and a raven flew down with a note around its leg and i knew it was jade's raven so i took the note off its leg and once i did it flapped its wings and flew away. The note was telling me to go to marble island for a ritual.

I had not fed in over 2 weeks and the hunger was over coming me i could feel the beast stirring inside of me like a pregnant mother feels her baby kicking.. so as i made my way to new haven but on my way there were lots of brigand's and as i walked closer they grabbed their weapons and started to try and tell me to hand over my money and my other goods. I kept walking but a big builded man with arms like treetrunks stood in my way and told me to give him all my possesions, i tried to walk past him but he grabbed my arm and with out a thought i twisted his hand and pulled it from its socket, his bones snapped like dry twigs i bit his neck and as he screamed his friends started coming for me. I dropped the first man as he was falling i grabbed my katana swung it at the first one that was coming for me and cut open his stomach i twisted around and decapated the fisrt man. Their friends were a little hesitant and as soon as their blood touched my tounge i was gone.. i lept at the other two men.. bit the first one and the other one scrambled away i enjoyed the one i had and when he was drained i ran after the one that got away. He was just outside the new haven gates when i appered infront of him grabbed him by the neck and dragged him off to a more quiet place and torchered him and drank his blood from the wounds on his chest.

After i went back home and must have dosed off because when i woke up it was after the meeting so to make sure i would not suffer jade wrath so i went to Trinsic and spoke to an 'old friend' Kealyn. I asked for the duke but again he was away but she allowed me to enter the town aslong as i behaved so i went in and breathed the air i could smell the lake and a sweet smell of freashly baked bread a much better smell than the one in swaggers but swaggers smell of old stale ale and old and new blood mixed in with a sour smell of poluted sea air. I walked around town for a bit nothing was going on so i went back home and climed into bed.
