Gwens Story: Updated

Gwen was born into the fourth highest ranking Noble house of the Underdark: Oblodra. In her younger years, it was clear to the head of her house, that Gwen would never make a mage or a cleric, and so she was enrolled into the Melee Magethere, where she become and extremely competent and deadly warrior. During her time in the school of fighters, Gwens house was obliterated by a rival family. Fearing for her life, Gwen fled the underdark, and decided to seek her fortune in the lands above.
She found an entrance to a passage to the surface which passed through the Dungeon Deceit. It was here she found a band of Paladins, hunting the Liches that inhabit the Dungeon. The Paladins saw Gwen and foolishly attacked her. They all died.
Gwen had dispatched the Paladins, but was not without her own wounds. A vampire had been watching her from the shadows, and pounced on her while she rested. He managed to drink about a pint of her blood before she had his head separated from his shoulders. Gwen knew a little Vampire lore, but not much. She found his coffin, and drove a wooden stake through his heart, to finish him of. She also wrongly believed she had been turned.
Gwen spent the next 150 years of her life, living as a vampire would, drinking blood, sleeping in a coffin, without realising her long life was a result of her Elven heritage.
She had heard of a group of Drow living on Fire Isle, in a town called Naeloth. Gwen travelled there and met Xirzin De’Muz, a follower of Vhaeraun. Being a follower of Lloth, but with no other choice, Gwen joined the rogue band, and kept her beliefs to herself. In order to distance herself from the other drow, and out of interest of her own kind, she became friendly with the house of Tremere, and particularly Jenwhittet. Over time their relationship grew, and Gwen found out her true nature. In a show of great love and loyalty to Jen, Gwen allowed herself to be turned into a real vampire, and swore her undying alliegance to Tremere and Jenwhittet.
Time went by with little happening, until one day a mysterious Assassin named Dryax Moonblade joined the house. He seemed a very unusual type, but Garod seemed to find him useful, thus he was accepted. By this time Gwen was a prominent guard within the house. One evening in the library, Gwen caught Dryax going through the restricted books within the library. She challenged hiom as to why he was there, and the assassin attacked her. The battle between them waged on for hours, Gwen constantly having the upper hand, but unable to finish off the sneaky assassin. Realising Dryax would be unable to defeat Gwen, and that his secret would be revealed to the house, he armed his soulblade, coated it with poison, hit the drow with it. Then allowed her to strike him down.
Gwen tied the Assassin up, then made her way to Ilshenar where Jen had organised a Masquerade that evening. Gwen knew something was wrong, she was becoming weaker and weaker with every step. Her body was ready to give up on her, but her strength of will, and undying loyalty to Tremere kept her going. She made it the the ball, only to collapse before she could warn the house of the traitorous assassin.
Garod, Jenwhittet and Alynora were all at a loss as to what was wrong with Gwen. After much research, Dryax came up with an idea. The ghost of his creator Kangaax the Lich, should be summoned, as he had seen the Lich perform a ritual to cure someone of similar symptoms. The answers they needed were found. For Gwen to be cured, Dryax would be required to take his original form: that of a blade. Dryax was surprising willing to do this, and the ritual soon took place. Gwen was restored, and when they returned Dryax to his human form, he was just a mindless Golem. Gwen took some time to recover fully, and went into a state of torpor to recover.
Years later she awoke, and seemed to be back to her old self. Little did the house know, but Dryax had purposely trapped himself into the body of Gwen, where he is able to manipulate her, and continue his own goals towards Tremere, what these are, only Dryax knows.
