To the Council of Vespar and it's Lord Protector Twothumbs,

First let me introduce myself to thee Lords and Ladies,
My name is Garod Tremere, some among thee may have heard this name before, but for those who have not let me give thee a brief introduction.
I am Garod Tremere and for the longest time I resided in the town of Deepwater as a citizen. When Deepwater was drained of it's life during the reapearance of the lost lands my jouneys took me to Spiritwood where I was recruited as the General of the Army of the Executioners leading them to many a victory. After a dispute with the ruler of Spiritwood I was exiled and my path took me to the dark forests of Nealoth where I quickly gained in status and eventually became one of the Leaders of these dark forests. Having lived in many towns and being somewhat of a schollar myself I found myself intruiged by this way of life. Many of the Libraries I had visited on my travels boasted copy after copy after arduous copy of the virtues and I descided to create a new library with books about that which was not virtuous and not Lord British. As time passed my library grew and so did it's renouwn. The Library of Nealoth was not an easy place to visit but neither was the lore which it contained suitable for all eyes. Sufice to say that only those with dire need traveld the dark forests of Nealoth to obtain knowledge they did not find in other libraries. By my side is Alynora whom some of you also might know. I wil not endevor to tell about her past since that is her perogative. As time progressed and Nealoth became a legend my wandering spirit told me to move on once more. And so I have come to write this parchment.

Now that I hope to have given sufficient introduction I shall state the purpose of this velum.
Word has recently reached our ears that the provinces of Vesper still require a governor for one of it's provinces and we would like to apply for this governorship. What can we offer the provinces I hear the whispers upon hearing our request. For quite a time we have been wanting to establish a center of learning outside of the one in Moonglow. This new Lyceum would be devoted to the study of the more dark lore and magics in our world. For one of the pre requisites of winning any war is to know thine enemy. Also we bring much knowledge of the arcane arts and rituals which we would be willing
to share with those we see as capable and who are interested in the learning we have to offer.

I hope that the Lords and Ladies of the Council as well as the Lord Protector wil take my pettition under consideration.

Muldran scratched underneath the awkward grey mask, and finished penning his letter back to the Council,

"...and in conclusion, despite the... history that the Naeloth may hold, having one such as Garod closer to us possibly makes it easier for us to never be caught out from this angle again.

Garod's knowledge - and library - would be an asset to all of Vesper; especially in these times when various threats hover around the edges of our world.

Although it may surprise some, I would accept Garod's tender, and would urge the rest of you to do so.

Once the door had closed, Mul leaned forward and put his head in his hands, the mask catching hard and scratching across his fingers.
