PUBLIC HANGING!

This upcoming Sunday at 8pm BST, you are all hearby invited to the public hanging of Aran Linvail for the following crimes;

Assaulted and tortured a city official.

He pleaded guitly to the given crime and thus his punishment is to be hanged on Vesperian soil without the need of a trial. May this also be a warning to all those of other Drow breed, mess with Vesper, and we won't play nicely. You have been warned.

The execution itself will be taken place at the gallows at Vesper's beach. Those that do not know of it's location, just stand outside of the Swaggers and somebody will show you the way.

This evening played host to the hanging of Aran Linvail, sentenced his death sentence due to the assaulting and torture of West Vesper's mayor, Elliot Heath. His death also played justice for the loss of Vespers gravedigger, Chuck.. although the known killer has still not be proven.

Aran Linvail had been kept locked up for the past few days in Vespers cells, he was treated kindly and granted any last wishes he may of wanted. We're not all complete animals in Vesper, we do leave the fella with some dignity left.

The weather was perfect for a hanging.. the sun beamed down upon the landscape of a beautiful Vesper.. a beautiful Empire. Aran was lead down the beach to where the gallows had been constructed for his death, he should of been honoured atleast..

There was a great turnout for the event, people from Skara - Britain - and some monks made the effort to see it. Although I think it would be a tad wrong to say they all came to say goodbye.. they were all just there to see someone die.. sick bastards!

The noose tied tight around his neck, Escaflowne gave a short speech explaining to those that do not know of the case, exactly why Aran has been given this sentence.

And with a gentle push.. he fell through the trap door.. struggling in the air for a few seconds as the life struggled to break from his body. It was a grusome sight, many at this point just couldn't watch and just looked away.

Before too long, he was dead. The rope was cut allowing the body to fall beneath us. The least we could do was give his dead corpse some modesty.

His last wish was for his body to be crimated and his ashes stored in an urn in the Swaggers.. So if you wish to go pay tribute to Aran.. head to the Swaggers and ask Rebecca.
