  | Re: Which MP3 Player The only time the battery in my iPod went down quick was with a wireless remote on the 500 mile motorcyle trip. I didn't know the remote took from the iPod battery life. The 24 hr life span went to 3 hrs! Otherwise, I've run the ruddy thing for like 8 hrs, and didn't even make it to half depleted. All batteries can be replaced for less then buying new device. 1. Go for what you can afford now. 2. Good sports headset (I use for yard work), 20 bucks 3. Download your own CD's to the device and your good. 4. External speakers for device, 20 bucks. An older set of PC speakers will usually work fine, as the 2.5mm jack for device is same standard 2.5mm jack. Rough estimate for the package, less then 200 bucks, 100 if you wanna try 'used'. | Re: Which MP3 Player Fnor, you ever do an Iron-butt ride? I did a 1000 mile trip to Chicago from SD 4 yrs ago straight through with NO music and it SUCKED!!!!!!!!!! Driving across South Dakota with nothing but flatness for 400 miles, then down to Iowa with an exact repeat is absolutely horrible!!  |
