I don't know what its called, the piece of plastic that goes under your computer chair, usually seen in offices... . I need to buy one. Anyone know of the proper term?

I really need to get one for my office too. My chair is ruining my carpet (since my office is my 2nd bedroom).

I'm on hardwood floors so I definitely had to get one. My chair would have eaten the floor up. (the non-spikey ones are good for hard floors)

I use one in my office. It's great to protect the floor from chairs. Watch your feet and stuff tho or you will get the carpet dirty around it.
