With so many MP3 players to choose from which do you prefer and why?

My boyfriend has a Sandisk, which I wanted to get also, but he's been having problem where it skips over songs.

Anything but Sony... but then again don't go by me... I just HATE SoE (Sony Online Entertainment) So that is the only reason I say so... hehe

My Palm Treo. It is a phone (who cares), an MP3 player, my database manager (a lifesaver), plays tons of games, it's my checkbook, e-book reader, internet, e-mail, engineering claculators for work, too many things to list! Did I mention it's a great little MP3 player?

I would vote NONE. I prefer my music the CD route! I am a fan of the artist's music. That means song 1-whatever on the disc. I am not a 1 hit listener, which is the majority of MP3 listeners

I always load full albums on my MP3 player. Not sure what others do, but the songs have to play in the order I expect them to.

Well most people I talk to, hear a pop 40 song, and just download the "hit" and never listen to their whole album, never giving the rest of it a chance, until they are told to like their next song by pop radio. My wife is a perfect example of this. She has like 5000 songs on her computer, and like 90% of them are "hits" by artists as opposed to the unreleased songs. I believe that some artists best songs are often the unreleased ones. One of my favorate songs by Offspring, for example, is "Pay the Man" which is the last song on the Americana CD. Never released, and probably almost never heard.... Or the last song on Avenged Sevenfold's new album, cant think of the name at the moment. I never keep cases, so alot of songs I am not soo sure of the name.. hehe. They go straight into my books with just the books. I dont have time to read the books too often while driving..
