  |  Intel Core Duo Processors & XP Media Center I'm browsing the Dell website and I see these XPS Computers. What imakes Intel® CoreTM 2 Duo processors great? | Re: Intel Core Duo Processors & XP Media Center Dual Core, is basically TWO CPU's running on the same chip. It was the next step to HT (HyperThreading). HT was able to run two pipes of data on the same chip. DC is able to run two pipes of data with two CPUs on the same chip.
