I need halp! (Surround Sound)

I am confused. I hooked up the DVR Player to the cable & TV fine. I just pulled all the cables threw the ceiling for the speakers to the surround sound. I am ready to plug it all up. But I am confused as heck,I think I'm missing a cord but not sure...

These are the pictures of my Surround Sound, DVR Player and the instructions to the Surround Sound. I bought a Stereo Cable, do I need a Optical Fiber cable and Coaxial cable too?

First question I have is the video/audio cables you have going "in" on your DVR are from what?

Right now the Cable is going into the DVR player, and the Audio (3 plugs) are going into the TV. That works. The Surround sound does not. I have the 2 plug Audio Cable, and I ran that from the DVR player to the Surround sound system but I think i need more cables

or i'm plugging them in wrong

The easy way to fix it is: Run the red and white cable from your DVR to your surrond sound DVD/DVR-P IN . If you don't have an extra set of cables. You could probably peel the yellow away from your red and white and just use that.

So none of those 3 cables need to be plugged into the TV?

The video one does (sooner or later). The audio doesn't since you will be using the surround sound system for all your audio

I owe you a big fat Hug & Kiss! There isn't a spot for all 3 cables, so I plugged the white and red and I have sound!!

Not sure if everything is plugged in where its supposed to be for optimum sound but I'm happy
