Let me give an example. Whenever i play a RPG, online or not, i always call myself lylas. Most of the time i act like a pretty feral and very daft elf if i can get away with it. Such as in UO for years my character would never talk, only emote. He always be up to some mischief from stealing apples from RP players to picking my nose and wiping it on the walls of brit bank. Nowdays he talks but in a very silly way. Like 'Ewwos dere missy! hases yous gotteds anyfinks mes can eateds?' Im like this in almost any game i can do it in, if its a single player roleplay game, such as morrowind ill make a tiny wood elf, call it lylas and that will be it, but the small elf conforms with what i do with lylas in online games, from UO to PSO to Guildwars.

So do you have a personality you often stick by?

Not me, I was never into the whole roleplaying thing.

Dont need to be into roleplay to have an ingame personality. Perhaps you have a preference for always wearing black and killing all innocent folk you meet and behave like that in every game you play

There was a time when i'd go around wearing nothing at all, with just savage paint on, heh
Least then I didn't have to worry about insurance or whatnot

Sometimes....my Archer characters are always played as a quiet person. They are usually self sufficent (ie in UO no magic to get around, I run, and I cook my own food)...I try to make them a pure, old style Ranger.

But my other characters vary. It depends on how I look I guess...but I do try to keep each character in a certain play style/personality. But I like to roleplay

my main is Adrianna. She is usually nice, and quick to defend or help others. I have another character I call my "PMS character." When I am in a rotten mood, I hop on her and go slaughter as many people as I can.

My daughter has a char on my acct named Draggy. It is a male char with long pink hair. She dresses him in a pink dress, pink hat, pink everything. Then she goes around and harasses people at banks.

I really, really want to delete her char.

Hmmm, I'd have to say my characters are loners, not socially inept, just like to go solo, but will help out if a group is present and necessary.

Other than that, it varies from character to character.

One thing Dip left out about his characters is that they are all killers, even the crafters.
