Anyone planning to play Warhammer online?

Can I steal from other players? If not, no chance. I learned my lesson with WoW. I am a thief at heart...PvP is not really for me, and I certainly am not a crafter...la

I was planning on playing until EAMythic took over because of the merger. Now while I am very much still a tabletop fanatic., so I know the background and love it. I have to pause and really think about giving EAMythic anymore of my money. Based on the past performance/communication with/about Ultima Online.

I might try to start on release day, but I am damn sure that I will pull the plug on any account that I open in Warhammer, if they pull the same amount of bs, that I have endured in UO.

Yes, I still play UO, it is the deepest, sandbox style game I have ever played. I was more than happy to pay for at one time, 7 accounts (easily paid for 6+ years on each). Now I am down to my original account (121 months) not a beta/launch player, but close.

Just tired of all the secretive bs from EAMythic. UO is not cutting edge, its has not been cutting edge for some years. I detest to inferal run around we p(l)ayers get on new features/content/not completing added features (virtues, buff/debuff bar still missing icons, etc) and the evasive no answers we get to questions that have been asked/wanted for years (such as commas in checks, stackable granite, etc). Couple this with the lack of communication (see my post in the old fansite topic thread here on uoforums)/direction from the team. Lack of marketing of this game.

Fact that UO is now a niche game, and should be treated as such.

I am for sure not going through all this again with any game. Let alone another game made be EAMythic.

Either way that I decide, EAMythic has made the choice much more difficult because of their past/continuing mistakes.

Don't have the background/experience that Warsong has, but I agree with what he's saying.

I may do a free trial, if they offer one.

I have been thinking about it, but I'm afraid that EA/Mythic would decide to use that other forum as the official forum. So I just might wait.

From what I've read on a third party forum, they're not going to have official forums for Warhammer Online
