Best Archer in the Lands of Sosaria!

The event last evening began with James Greymason calling for entries! He was holding a contest to determine the best archer in the realm! Over 50 contestants assembled in Serpents Hold to try their luck and skill at the butts. All contestants were given special bows with which to shoot.

After the first elimination round was complete, the 8 high-scoring archers remained in the competition. It took many a shot to determine who was indeed the best archer in the realm, but in the end the top prize was awarded to Valathion of The Ancient Order of Elves! His prize was a working archery butt in the shape of a scarecrow! Congratulations to Valathion! We all know those Elves are great archers and he proved it once again last evening.

Top winners were:
1--Valathion (a working archery butt, in the shape of a scarecrow)
2--Lord Goliath (a statue of Kaji the Archmage)
3--Riddick (a statue of a Yammadon)
4--Palindrim (a statue of a Golden Phoenix)
5--Smurfette (a statue of a Tsuki wolf)
6--Don Quixote (a statue of a Tsuki Wolf)
7--Samantha (a statue of a White Stag)
8--Joh Bon Jovi (a statue of a White Stag)

After the awarding of the prizes, James Greymason reminded us that the theme of the prizes should bring to mind the Ilshenar Zoo, long under construction. We all made the trip to Lakeshire to visit the newly unveiled zoo. It is indeed an impressive addition to the unique locations on the Pacific shard! Take time from your adventuring to visit the wonderous creatures of the Lakeshire Zoo.

Even the Meer seemed impressed with this exciting new zoo facility. One even insisted upon taking the tour with me! (thanks to my friend, Roland

Well, those Atl plans fell through. I instead made a journey over to Durotan Server in WoW the last month or so. I still pop up here and there in UO though. Especially since SX reformed a massive force in the form of WTF? on Baja last night.......I will have to get my dummy char out of the Inn on Pac tonite to see this Zoo..
