Using Word of Death (at the appropriate time) nets me between 200-350 damage.

I've had that "teleported under the building" problem too.

We had a guy that was there on his necro/spwv char Wodding for us. We circled up before going out there on our spwvers and had a +4 or 5 cant remember exactly, but he was WODding it for close to 450. It was great for the initial Zerks when last hit got rights. Our guild was partied and we would have him standing by for the WOD just to make sure some idiot didnt come in and hit him at the end. The worst part about that spell is the casting time. Its like 4 seconds. So if you fizzle or dont get a killshot, there is a good chance it will be dead before you get the WOD off again.

Yeah, and the 450 is based off of SDI. I can hit for 504 IF I have a big enough focus to get to that high. On peerless' I can get 2 or 3 WODs off (for around 1200-1400 total damage) with the last one finishing it off with only a lvl 1 focus.

The highest I hit an ophid so far is 385, I only had a lvl 1 focus. It's possible to get 2 off before it's dead with a higher focus.

I didnt know WOD was based off SDI..I have a chiv/mage/spwv spawning char that I have 43SDI with (scrappers,pendant,kasa and +1 on a ring) that does excellent WODS on champs. I have been able to pull off 400 or so on most the champs Ive done so far. I have yet to take him to a peerless tho. I think it would be an awesome char to do it with. I think as of this last weekend, in my guild we now have enough people to do a 5, and potentially a 6 if we wanted to. I am the one that usually has to bridge that 20 gap tho, as I have like 102 and another guy has 120, and the rest are working their way up from the mid 80s. I should have finished off to 120 when I had the chance on my boat, now its just the once or twice a day I gain. I dont really actively train it tho, it just kinda happens when I remember.

Heh, yeah. I wasn't sure if it was focus based or SDI based, but what tipped me off was after I died once at Mel (stupid satyres) I didn't pay attention and re-equip my Scrappers and was hitting for considerably less with WOD then the next run had it equipped and hit for 50-75 more.

I think I'm at 119.8 and have been working on it every other day for atleast 3 months, I feel your slow gain pain.
