Every week or so, the developers post runes that when deciphered give a hint to whatever story arc they are working on. Though this weeks runes are a link to a contest.

I guess I still don't get it, what is the point of hinting to the story arc? Not like we have any control over it, via player input, or are affected much by it. And when they do have events they are so limited in number that I can never even see them, ie the trial, or are too high of level for younger accounts, ie halloween. I appreciate the thought, but the players are now so thinly dispersed over the various shards that it is really difficult to consistently have people on her are polite and interested in the story and not just "pwning" or whatever. I think I am just getting cynical in my old age, and I lost my dragon and my cu yesterday and am cranky.
