Well I got a vanquishing war hammer from one of the generals last night. The're dropping those old weapons like during the Brit invasion.

I think that pretty much confirms it.

Also, I feel safe to assume they are using the same spawning method that was used during the Brit Invasion. I do remember them saying it would be used in future events.

I thought you were going to ask if the invasion is in Fel also... then try to inform everyone there's something extra special when you kill a general in Fel, just to try to lure more prey.
