Beware! Black Hooded Strangers Roaming Haven

Be on notice that suspicious black-hooded strangers are roaming the isle of Haven, and their intent is unknown. We do not wish to cause undue alarm, but we do urge caution while on Haven. These strangers seem skittish and disappear with little warning when approached. There are reports of these suspicious visitors collecting pieces of blackrock, and we are highly suspicious of any individual or group stockpilling this potentially dangerous substance.

For those who insist on collecting and experimenting with blackrock, you should keep in mind that the leading Britannian mages have identified this dark mineral as potentially hazardous with a variety of unknown properties. We recommend disposing of it immediately.

Be aware and be safe.

I believe the hooded figures aren't out to have destructive purposes with the black rock. I believe they are really Rogues, and they are just looking to refine the black rock into a workable form to make armor and weapons with then they are going to rake in the gold from all the boat loads of money they will make lol.

Now THAT would be cool as hell. Something that could maybe only have one property with "middle-of-the-road" resists but that one property would be over the cap by 10% or one whole number, whichever is larger.

Blackrock Dagger with 100% Chaos damage and 55 DI or something...

Not to mention, look at the rewards handed out the most......

Peerless Stuff - Used for Crafting
Ancient Smithing Hammers - Used for Crafting
Runic Hammers - Used for Crafting

then I think the arties were just thrown in just to keep the non-crafters from complaining lol.

But in my own personal opinion the hints are pointing towards blackrock being a future crafting material. Think about the next expansion as well....it introduces Gargoyles as a playable race...now go to gargoyle city, what do you buy there....Mallots and Chissles for stone crafting, Rock.....Stone....are people following me?
