I created a character on the account I started for my kids, since they don't want to use all the slots. This is a new account so 700 max skill points. Is there any advantage to going above 100 wrestle? The reason I ask is I'm putting together a "pure" mage, that looks like this:

Magery 115 (ate a 120 scroll)
Eval 115 (ate a 120 scroll)
Resist 115 (for now)
Med 117
Inscription 100
Wrestling 100 (currently 84)

He has eaten a 115 wrestle scroll that I had laying around, but I'm not sure I need to work him that high and I could devote the extra skill points to something else. Is there any advantage to a 115-120 wrestling on this char? This will be a PVM and a dueling PVP mage.

120 wrestle gives higher chance to block, and higher chance of getting of hitting to get off a para or disarm. Also less chance of spel interruption due to higher defense chance.

As a helpful hint, you may find it easiest to gain that wrestle by equipping a fishing rod and whacking away at a golem. Golem training guide

Wrestling is like a melee skill. The higher it is the more offense/defence chance you have. So for a mage that means less interrupts. So it depends on your play style on going above or not . Personally I recommend it.

Thom, I jumped on a char I have on LA today, just to check out your store. I may play LA a little in the future, and if I do I will look you up...kinda starting from scratch on that shard. My char isn't too awful, but it sucks starting out poor and naked, compared to my comforts on GL lol. The char is "Audi" if you see him.

No sir, no trouble at all. I found an earlier post where you described the location of your store and found it in a hearbeat. Only problem with that particular char is he is a straight mage....wish it was a warrior or tamer, but then again that will be a second shard, not my primary. I will look you all up in the next week or so when I can get back there. Right now I'm working the crap out of this mage on GL so I can get him ready to go.

I am not sure if Ben could have handled another tamer, so you made a great choice!!!!! For that alone, he will thank you!
