Hi guys, not to funny to complain here in my first post but..
Sometimes the game crashes and i get a blue screen and the cpu restarts. I havent found any pattern when it happends, i have noticed one thing though, when i start the game and logg in and start to move around in the backpack the first thing i do, the game usally crash.

I looked at the requierments for the game couse i have a old laptop, but that should not be the problem?

The problem isent a big thing when it happends around the citys, but what happens when u are deep in to a dungeon? Can i get killed short after the cpu crashes couse my character doesent get logged of directly?

When i,m reading about KR it sounds like its alot of bugs....

Well, KR needs a computer that is above the minimum system requirement they indicate. And yes, it still has some bugs, but believe me, it's way better than it used to be.

Can you post your laptop type and if you know it, your graphic card specs?
Usually most crashes in KR are graphic dependent.

You might try to download the 2D client until you can upgrade your laptop if it only meets the lower end of the requirements.
Myself I have a 2 years old laptop and I can't get KR to run smoothly enough. The main problem being most laptops don't have dedicated memory for the graphics.

To answer your second question, yes, you will die It's like that...
In the past when internet connections were worse, you would have died 10 times a day just for connection lost

If you are on Europa server, come and pay me a visit in Haven if you need a hand.

Oh, and try the 2D client if you are tired of crashes

How old is the laptop? can ya post the spec here?

Thanks for the help guys, no i havent tried the 2D client, i just stubbled across KR when surfing around on the net, is it avalible on UO web page..

About the cpu, yeah i guess the integrated graphic card makes it hard to play KR, i will try the 2D version.

with the bluescreen.. sounds more like a overheat issue on the laptop - my gf had that problem before as well on the laptop, She had to turn it in and they cleaned the fan filter... and other parts inside it. Since then it hasn't crashed again.. if its a older toshiba its a common problem since they put the fans just plain stupid. Might be worth doing since too many crashed will harm your HD.
