Where to go from here?
Hey guys, it's me again, the guy asking about the free trial from the other day. So far i'm enjoying the game and everything it has to offer, there is so much one can do! Anyways, i'm not sure what I should do or where I should go from here. So i'm back again, pleading for some advice, any would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
![]() So I started a mage, probably not the best choice i've been told but it seems pretty fun. My skills are as follows, I know they're probably awful, but hey I only started a couple of days ago ![]() Evaluating Intelligence: 66.8 Focus: 93.6 Inscription: 50.8 Magery: 62.0 Meditation: 86.7 Resisting Spells: 71.6 My equipment consists of horned leather items that another player gave to me. Anyways, i'm wondering what I should do now, i'm still training magery at the moment and i'd perhaps like to start hunting different monsters but i'm not sure what I should fight as i'm probably not strong enough for anything other than skeletons etc. My brother is also trying the game and started a paladin today, so what could we hunt together or what should we do? He is pretty sold on the idea of getting a boat and that looks fun, so would this be a worthy little investment? Any ideas, opinions, advice etc. is grealty appreciated! Thanks -Ben |

Re: Where to go from here?
There really isn't much to do with a boat to be honest.
You could go hunt in Dungeon Despise, it's North of Brit and I you should be able to take on Ettins and Trolls without a problem.

Re: Where to go from here?
Hi Trousers, its great to read your feedback on how the game is going.
Good advice from Dip there . Maybe it wouldalso help you and your brother,if you joined a guild, who you could join on hunts etc.? The benefit to this is that there is always some one around to help you train, keep you alive, and help should you need ressurecting. Also as a mage, you would get the chance to mark runes at all the best locations to keep in rune books, for the future, when you may be out huntiung alone. Now I am not sure what shard you are on, but here is a list of them all. I know if you should post and ask for players on your shard ,you will soon get lots of friendly advice. If you should be on the Europa shard[ where I play] then here are the guilds and player run towns to look at that you could join.. Good luck, I am sure you will soon find others to team up with you,and help you out. Tabbitha

Re: Where to go from here?
Basically, you're still in the training stage for a mage. I would suggest trying to find some LRC armor pieces on vendors, so that you get as close to 100% LRC as possible. Once there, you can train your magery up to GM without spending all your money on regs. Once you get to GM you will be able to cast EV's and summon Elementals to help you fight, at which point you can begin making serious money.
Look for plain leather armor pieces, each with a minimum of 12 LRC. Add an LRC hat, jewelry and spellbook. You should be able to find all of those fairly cheaply. If you weren't on the free trial and had access to Twisted Weald you could litterpick at Swoops and have a nice 100LRC suit in a couple of hours, but I don't think the free trial gives access to Mondaine's Legacy content. Anyway, training your magery up is easy. At your current skill level just spam Magic Reflection until you get to around 72, then equip a Magic Wand or Spell Channelling Mage Weapon to take your skill back down, and continue casting Magic Reflection. That one spell will take you most of the way to GM. Good luck!
