Where did all the Baja activity go?

Back in the day (early 2000's) I was really active on Baja.. everything was great. However, took a long break from 2003ish through the Samurai Empire release.. played that for a couple months, and now considering playing a little again. I just popped into UO.com to check the guilds and members and stuff on Baja and it seems to be quite dead.. does anyone still play that shard or did everyone transfer elsewhere?

Anyway, also new to this forum.. so Hi.

Re: Where did all the Baja activity go?

Britain bank is dead on Baja. But definitely check out Luna, that's where nearly most of the "masses" bank now.

You'll still find some in Skara a little too.

Re: Where did all the Baja activity go?

Homeless Ron and I were catching up on old times just last week. We bumped into each other in Jhelom doing escorts.

Re: Where did all the Baja activity go?

Gah freaky!
Seems eons ago when I was in his guild
Always remember your allied guilds though, especially the dark wardens.
I ran my own guild at one point, used to be called the Dream Reapers, D_R
Do you remember any characters by the name of cixelsyD or....Shirak?

Wasn't the abbreviation something like... mAn?!

The Dark Wardens (tDw), The Adeptus Astaries (TAA), and the Mage Tower (MT). We're all still on Baja till the day EA pulls the plug on it.

I remember seeing the D_R abbreviation.

Absolutely! They were both tDw at one time (seems like who on Baja hasn't! ). Shirak was really into roleplaying too, and had a nice rune library on Malas.

Re: Where did all the Baja activity go?

Aye, lot of people I've lost contact with, Shirak I remember vividly
Been meaning to chat to him again, but could never find his ICQ.
Trying to remember all the different people I played with, although it has been a while.

Re: Where did all the Baja activity go?

Cronis, I played baja from 2000 to 2004.
*Ahem, I was never TdW* . I do Remeber mAn quite well. A few lived on the peninsula near the original paul mart (large white marble).
*goes all old* Can remeber his name, but he had a log cabin near me. Guy with red beard and white hair (WHY do I remember that and not his NAME?)

Either of you remember Leatherus and his immense library?
