What would you choose?

I guess I get some free gift for buying the 8th age set, so what would you guys pick and why?

I am an old vet, for those who did not read my intro. Just looking for some insight on this new stuff.

I voted for quiver of infin because i resell and those sell quickest

I also voted for quiver cause i have an archer, and i believe its the best of the bunch

the quiver is the best all around item. you can use it on any character and get that 5% dci bonus. It doesnt just effect archers. Everything else on that list is a complete waste of a token. I got a fountain at first, but the bandages just arent worth it at all to have wasted my token on it. I now wear a quiver on every character. Hey, its free 5% DCI

Not to mention it looks ridiculous when every other character you see carries a quiver no matter what their profession is... wish they'd fix that so the properties only affect archers.

But to the original question, yup, the quiver is the best all-around item. Depends a bit on your characters and what you like to do in game which item you'd enjoy most.

I think the quiver looks pimp. It shouldn't matter what your temp is you should be able to wear whatever you want to reap the rewards of item bonuses.

What I think is really funny is the people who wear normal quivers who arent archers, there is no benefit to those AT ALL unless you are an archer.

It says, "Hey, I could use a bow if I wanted to." and its just another wearble. If you craft them in different leathers, do they retain the color or can they be dyed? Probably just a fashion statement....

Yeah, as far as playability factor goes, the quiver is the only worthwhile choice. The others are for deco or for collectors...

How would +5 dci not affect a non archer?

I think the craftable quivers stay the certain colors of whatever type they are. The normal ones are green no matter what leather you make them with.

and damin, I was referring to the people who wear normal quivers, not the blessed one. That one is a free dci bonus and doesnt cost anything in insurance. The only reason I wouldnt wear one was if I needed the resistance from a vet reward.

Well, I have the Quiver on my archer already... and I have the Shield as well, but of the items there.. those are my two best choices. I have no need for a second Music Box or Fountain... I voted for the Shield because I love the way it looks.
