![]() | Using Talisman of the Fey Ok. When I was choosing my 9th anniversary items, I got the talismans that Ninja's can use. However, I'm not sure how to use them. I used my book to get to the Animal Form ability, but there weren't any extra choices. How do I use my talismans? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Using Talisman of the Fey There is also a minimum skill requirement for each of the Talismans. The Squirrel and Ferret are low, but the Cu Sidhe and Reptalon talismans require a high skill level in Ninjitsu before they will work. Squirrel form is fun for roleplaying, I walk up to male characters in banks and say stuff like gimme yer nuts! which is usually good for a laugh. ![]() ![]() |

I read about what the forms do (firebreathing, self healing) but is it a big difference? ![]() We are all broken and wounded in this world. I can only speak for the squirrel and ferret talismans, which don't require much skill to use. They are good for roleplaying and not much else, although ferret form does give a small boost to the Stealing skill. I've never skilled up enough in Ninjitsu to use the other ones yet. ![]() ![]() | |

![]() | Re: Using Talisman of the Fey I think the animal forms in general are nice. The dog and cat forms that you start off with have the inscreased healing rate, which I think is good for trying to kill stuff that just is a little too strong for my human form, still. My characters are still low levels, so the lizardmen tend to kick my butt. If I change into a dog or cat first, though, I can beat them a bit easier because I heal so much faster. |
