The "Ultimate" PvE Character?
Well, I got my PVP Characters ready, now I need my PvE character.
What is in your opinion the best solo PvE template? I aim to do Doom Gauntlet and such. All ideas are welcome ![]() |

Re: The "Ultimate" PvE Character?
i will have to agree with the others, a bard with high magery and medi work very well in doom. music/discord/provo/magery/medi/resist and either peace(witch i prefer) or eval.

Re: The "Ultimate" PvE Character?
Hmm, I saw something abit crazy there just now, a fencer soloing the gauntlet, any idea what kinda template he might be using?
I was never much for bard skills, unless I ofc. roll a tamer, dunno how that would work though. |

Re: The "Ultimate" PvE Character?
Archers are good to I have heard, though for most things you need the money for the items to really compete

Re: The "Ultimate" PvE Character?
I think this would be good enough or switch out resist for peace and use items, but I think resist would be better, even tho is pvm, just dont have to worry bout eating petals and opening pouches.

Re: The "Ultimate" PvE Character?
I see my friend whos a warrior with parry, anatomy and swords, tactics, healing, bushido gets wacked pretty hard and fast when he fights heavy mobs, but dunno, maybe its the gear, even though he spent quite alot on it.
- - - I do have an archer, my PVP character with Hunters Headdress, Dryad's Bow , Ring of Elements and such, however I feel that I lack some survival when it comes to caster mobs like ancient liches, their flamestrikes do hurt alot, even with 60 resist to fire. |

Re: The "Ultimate" PvE Character?

Chiv and Bushido
Then if you can fit it in, Spellweaving.

Re: The "Ultimate" PvE Character?
There was a post on the Samurai Forum over on Stratics about a guy whos solod a DF, Paroxymous, and multiple Dreadhorns.
IIRC, his template is 120 Swords/Parry/Bushido 100 Anat 90 Healing 60 Chiv "some" Tactics (40?) That with enough Necromancy to cast Vampiric Embrace with Jewels on. Id say that his effectiveness is perhaps a bit above a Discrod Tamer, but the equipment for his build wuold be VERY expensive as well... |

Re: The "Ultimate" PvE Character?
My archer has Chivalry and Fishing. The fishing does not help in the uberness factor but is a big boost for the fun factor.
(I have issues...I've GM'ed 3 fisherman so far)
