Trapped Pouches

How much would these damage me for? Is it worth it to carry one along in case I get paralyzed?

Re: Trapped Pouches

If made by a low level tinker (35-40ish), you will get popped for about 10 or so damage. Be careful though, sometimes you may find one on a corpse(in pvp anyways) that is a setup, they leave them on their corpses, and they are lethal poison traps, GM traps, explo traps.

They are worth every penny in my opinion. Even those with high resist, can even use them, if you are fighting something with necro, and they evil omen you, and para you, it could be a while before you're free. Or even those pesky pixies, their para's seem to last minutes.

Every week or so, I make about 50-60 for my guild to use, and store them in the community pouches in my house, for people to use whenever needed.

I think he means if a mage uses magic trap on a pouch, how much damage would it do? (correct me if I'm wrong)

Re: Trapped Pouches

A mage has to help in the process of making these boxes. Your tinker makes the trap box, locks it, then the mage magic unlocks or locks it, not sure, I've always done the tinker part, and my buddy does the mage part, as it goes quicker this way. But the magery has no effect on how powerful the box is.

Re: Trapped Pouches

I don't carry them, personally. My PvP suit is all 70's and I have 120 resist, so I don't bother.

Re: Trapped Pouches

if you magic trap your pouch it'll only do 10 or so dmg. This is an old school method before the days of trapped boxes.
