So what do thieves do these days with all the blessed items and insurance around? I know they can nab up a nice power scroll if they're lucky at a champ spawn, but other than that does anyone think they'd be worth starting up?

There is also arty thieving from DOOM and the Fan Dancers Dojo.

My guess is that they would be much more useful on Siege than the prod shards, but I havent tested that theory out yet,

Some of the richer characters in production shards are "crate" thieves. They're the ones who get the titans hammers and those resolution glove thingies and whatnot.

They steal lots of things that sell for millions of gold.

Never much cared for playing either type of thief, but when they added insurance they also removed the ability of tinker traps to protect you from snooping, fyi.
