Re: Tech questions

The one motherboard is a ECS Elitegroup K7S5A.

I will have to crack the other box open to find out.

Re: Tech questions

re: macros not saving: i had that problem once when i had copied my UO desktop folder backups (with all of my character info and macros) off of a CD backup when i reinstalled UO. because they came from a CD, they copied over as "read only" and therefore couldn't be modified. i had to right-click on the folder and look at its properties, and toggle off the read-only check box.

Re: Tech questions

The ECS manufacturer, has a specific AGP slot driver download

http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWeb/Downloa...uID=45&LanID=8

See if installing that helps any,

Looking at the setup file included, it's a....
pci_svcdesc = "PCI Bus Driver"

So it "might" help

Is this the board you've currently got your new card plugged into?

Re: Tech questions

The Nvidia GeForce 4 MX 420 is on the ECS Elitegroup K75SA.

But its PCI not AGP. So I don't know if that driver will do any good.

I haven't got the other case open yet so I don't know its make... I will check into it later.
