spellweaving question

i have decided to try spellweaving. i have a character that i have never played before. i just used him to hold skills from soulstone. he has no magery or any way to heal, so what i want to know is if i do the quest with a different character and trans fer the skill, will he be able to do spellweaving?
i will have to build him up before he can handle the quest.

I never thought about that. Itd be like trying to stone Stealth to someone without any Hiding (need 50 Hiding to start training Stealth.)

I m going to guess that the "point mule" wouldnt even be able to absorb the skill from the stone. Youll get an error message about it.

I could very well be totally wrong tho...

If you just give a spellweaving book to a character, it'll be unable to start gaining any skill from casting the spells unless it does the quest first. So I'm betting soulstoning will have the same effect, no quest, no spellweavage.

That's correct Adrianna. You also have to re-do the quests for summon fey and summon fiend on the new character even though those spells are already in your book from another character.

as one stated no, the quest must be completed by the character one wants spellweaving on.
