Soulstones

I have a vet reward soulstone and I am confused as to exactly how to use it.
As of now I can place one skill on it and retrieve the skill later. However I can only do this once every 24 hours.

I've noticed other people talking about re-arranging entirely templates (moving two or three skills from a variety of characters on to one).
Did this happen over the course of a week or is there an option with the soulstone I'm unaware of?

Right now I want to trade two skills between characters (move two skills from one and trade them with skills from another).

They both have full templates, so if I remove two skills from the first character I can't put them on the second without two skills dropping to 0.

Any advice here would be helpful.

Either happens over the course of a week, or they have multiple soulstones. Soulstone fragments could also be used, they work the same as regular soulstone, but only can be used (full transfer of skill, onto, then off of fragment) 5 times.

Moving an entire template at once would require multiple soulstones. There is no way around the 24 hour timer.

If you have two characters with full skill sets and only one stone the best way (I think) would be to have a third character who can act as a middleman.

The 24 hour timer may seem like a bit of a bummer at first, but it saves a ton of time if you consider how long it would take to retrain two or three skills.

Generally they have multiple soulstones. On my main account, for instance, I have 13 full soulstones and about a dozen frags. I use the frags for long term storage of skills I don't anticipate using, while about half the full stones are storing skills I interchange a lot. The other half of the full stones are, obviously, empty, so I can dump the skill off that I'm trading for. I can totally change a characters template in about 5 minutes, and, as long as the stats are where they need to be for what I want to do, the character can be back in action immediately.

In your situation I would do what Brom suggested, and have a skill mule to dump skills onto for trading between characters.
