Does anyone know if the locations to fish up sunken treasures are similiar to the T-maps, whereas, there are only X number of locations? Or is it random every time you fish up an SoS Bottle? I am trying to log the locations on UOAM. If so, does anyone have a URL that lists the locations?

I haven't done an SoS in forever, but you need a sextant. Dbl click the sextant and it gives you coordinates of where you are. Then you go to where the coordinates of the SoS are and fish it up. I think you have to have a minimum fishing skill too. If someone who remembers more about it then I do would chime in it would be great. :-P

Basically, they're fixed locations.. and confined to general areas.

However, there are probably not any sites which list all the coordinates. Unlike treasure maps, the SoS already gives you the exact coordinates. This makes it easier to just mark UOAM as you open the bottles, and then delete that marker when you're done.

With T-maps, it shows you a picture... then you have to refer to pre-marked locations on UOAM or a website so you can figure out the coordinates... then find a rune library, and then recall there.

Premarking locations for land T-maps is really useful, but not so much for SoS maps..

what you can do though, is mark coordinates as hot points on your uoam, so when you are looking for a map, you can kinda graph it from your uoam. like mark every 200' or something like that. It may take a while, but you will probably end up gaining in the end, as it wont take as long to find the coords..

My treasure chest locations came pre-marked with my UOAM. Maybe since they don't update it anymore people can't get that info?
