Something weird happened...

Ok, so I had my char in my house, and had to do a quick errand. While I was gone, the system logged me out, since I was away for a little while. When I logged back on, my "Resisting Spells" skill went from 100.7 to 66.7!!

I have no idea how that happened...it took awhile to build it up to over 100. Anybody have any suggestions/ideas as to what I did wrong?

Someone mustve cast Arch-Protection near you. Youll need to cast the Protection spell to get it to deactivate.

Yup...cast it on myself...didn't really know anything about it, lol.

Just so you know, Protection:

Quote:

Allows you to cast spells without being interrupted. Lowers physical resistance, resist magic skill and spell casting speed (by 2). Lasts until cast again.
Because of the heavy drawbacks, this spell is, these days, primarily used to train low level resisting spells (due to the drop in the skill) as its almost impossible to kill anyone with a -2 faster casting.

If you have Inscription on your char, the drops in Phys and Resist arent as bad as when yo have no Inscription.
