Does anyone know the best way into Sanctury, I need to go in so I can do a specific quest but after looking at the entrance through the caves south of Yew it seems almost impossible on your own.

I sent a ghost in to look around and I can't see any way I can get through with a single char.

Any ideas ??

Thats the only root. Only suggestion, strip down a character to nothing, go in die right away. Take your time and try to memorize the route or plot it out. Then log in with the character you want to go there and run like heck.

Use pots and and such and run.

If you've ever worked on the honor virtue it will be a great help. When you activate the honor virtue you are able to peacefully walk through monsters hordes for a given amount of time depending on your level of achievement in the virtue. This is an easy, and SAFE way to get through sanctuary which is a nasty, nasty place!

And if you didn't know, to raise your honor level, open your virtue menu, click the honor icon, and then click the monster you wish to fight. When you defeat the monster, you'll gain in honor... there is more about on the official UO website: www.uo.com

Yeah, I can cast Arcane that will allow me to walk through spawn, but at the moment it only lasts about 30secs, which is part of the reason I need to get into Sanctury because it the last quest to get Summon Fiend and I'm raising Spellweaving at the moment.

I think your suggestion of teh Honor Virtue is good actually because it would take me long to do that and then use it to go through, although I would like to get in there tomorrow so I migh also try theghost thing and memorize (that will be a laugh!!) the route.

Embracing your Honor (invoking the honor virtue) is the safest bet sure, but it's perfectly doable to just ride through the whole place ignoring all the monsters. I used to mess around in the Sanctuary a lot and it really isn't as bad as it looks since most monsters are sort of blocked into little pens.

If you do ride through, just be careful to stay on the road and not enter any of those enclosed areas with the spawn.

Honor ,run Honor Run...works Like A Charm

Since I was doing the quest for spellweaving anyway, I used the ethereal voyage thingy

I just run through easily enough even with just GM equipment. But dont do it from a low ping server like i tried when i was playing on Europa from Canada . I died a lot. I found it very frustrating at times playing with a low ping rate.

How about that dispel evil spell from paladins? Would that work?

there are a few 'secrets' in that there are some holes in the floor in different places, where you run through some rat spawn instead of the main floor but i don't know the exact route. *looks at lady destiny*
